Detailed:
47. The Binding of Isaac (Steam, 2013/08/11)
It only took me two years to beat this game, but after 30+ hours I finally had a great run and kicked Mom's buttocks.
48. Ether Vapor Remaster (Steam, 2013/08/18)
Pretty, but almost too cinematic for its own good, very poor bullet visibility at times, bad design for a SHMUP.
49. Borderlands 2 DLC 1 (Steam, 2013/08/18)
"Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty", complete 4P co-op. Rough start, but toward the end the team dynamic snapped into place. The DLC was really well done. I liked the completely new location, very big and fleshed out, more quirky characters and the signature political incorrectness. Fun times, can't wait to see the remaining DLC.
50. GRID (Steam, 2013/08/24)
Picked it up as an extended demo for GRID2 and only paid like three or four quid for the game. Ended up loving its racing model, physics, tracks, team racing atmosphere and events so much that I completely exhausted everything: all gold, all cars and all challenges. They really hit the sweet spot of arcadey with a dash of sim, especially the drifting was top notch. Although the AI (team mate included) was really bad at times and there was nothing worth than a narrow city track, starting position 11 of 12 and only two laps to win the race. Bumper car galore, only the unlimited restarts and the rewind feature stopped me from throwing my PC out of the window. Thankfully those moments were pretty rare and only towards the end.
51. Bionic Commando Rearmed (Steam, 2013/08/25)
Great game, very polished and solid. Its soundtrack is fantastic too. But damn, that last stretch is the very definition of classic ball busting hard difficulty.
52. Chains (Steam, 2013/08/27)
Nice little puzzle game with 20 different challenges around chaining dots together with lots of physics. Surprisingly addicting, the game came as free bonus for the latest indie royale bundle, I just wanted to try it out and got instantly hooked.
53. Sleeping Dogs DLC Nightmare in North Point (Steam, 2013/08/29)
What a good time, so many 80s/90s chinese ghost story movie references. It was really more hilarious than scary to be honest, sorta in a Big Trouble in Little China kinda way. Pretty brief, only like 90 minutes, although well paced. The whole "one crazy night out" plot was spot on.
54. Sleeping Dogs DLC Year of the Snake (Steam, 2013/08/31)
Pretty dry story, also very dark, more police drama and action thriller. Missions were nicely varied in the framework of more strict and sort of by the book police work, refreshingly not so undercover and grimy as the main game.
