I hope this happens on Steam one day. I have a few games on Steam that I'd love to get something back for.

They'd only to be able to do this with their own store.

Valve, Microsoft (for BLX and GFWL), Sony, etc. would not jump on board with this. Even if they decided DD resales were a good idea, they'd do it through their own services.

I'd hate if they started using this to get customers to move to their service, forcing yet another DD platform into the mix.

If downloadable games can be resold, does this mean that there's less of a reason for physical copies to go away? Would be cool if so.
