GBA Games that shouldn't be missed

Hi,
I'm soon leaving for a trip to Toronto / Quebec and I wanted to buy some GBA games over there, since they're much cheaper over there than in Europe.

So tell me which to get. As WarioWare Twisted got cancelled, that's a definite buy.

Minish Cap.
 
Both Golden Suns and Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga are very good RPGs.
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow is superb as well, so don't pass up on it.
 
I'm a big Advance Wars fan, I would recommend those if you're into strategy games. Even though the DS one is better than the two GBA ones.
 
that tony hawk launch game. it's still my most played gba game ever.

the different cameraview takes some time to get used too but it's all smooth sailing once you get past that point. the controls work surprisingly good and it looks pretty good.

The lack of Rhythm Tengoku in this thread is disturbing.

Circle of the Moon and Aria of Sorrow (Harmony of Dissonance is good, but noticeably worse than the other two and you can live without playing it)

Fire Embem & FE: The Sacred Stones

Nonessentials, but great games nonetheless:

Wario Land 4 was great, I really wonder why there was no WL5. Mario & Luigi RPG was one of my favourites, so these two games won't be bought a second time ;)

Wario Ware: Mega MicroGame$ isn't it worth imo, since I already own the GCN game with mostly the same content.

Rhythm Tengoku would be great, but that one has to come later this year (from Play-Asia).

Since I'm looking for rather short and simple games, I'll probably stay with WWT and Mario Kart.
 
Ninja 5-0.

- A total gem of an action game. If you liked Bionic Commando at all or any Ninja games (Shinobi, Ninja Gaiden) on the old systems, it's a must-buy.
 
I won't repeat the ones already mentioned, but I'd highly recommend Mario Vs. Donkey Kong, DK: King Of Swing and Racing Gears Advance.
 
Mazes of Fate - someone on here made a thread reccomended it, and i'm glad I listened to them as this is a really awesome dungeon crawler, and has spent more time in my ds than actual ds games.
 
Basically anything from Intelligent Systems, Treasure, Game Freak or Nintendo R&D1. Everything else is either a console port or entirely missable imo.

I have to third the Ninja 5-0 recommendations. I loved that game. One of the best action games I have played in quite a while.
 
If you're in Toronto go to Yonge and Eglinton and hit up Gamearama.

The store isn't that clean and kind of smells >.>

But they always seem to have good deals and low prices.

I'd also suggest that if you're in the downtown core, go to Yonge and Bloor and check out Game Center. I've seen some insanely cheap stuff in there, and they seem to have quite a few GBA games there. Also, if you're near the Eaton Centre downtown, go to Game Shack in The Atrium on Bay. They don't really have fantastic prices (not bad either) but I tend to go there when I'm in the area.
 
Where the **** are tine Final Fantasy Advance ports? 1-6 (excluding 3).

Final Fantasy VI is a must have! Final Fantasy V is good too. (along with the slightly glitchy IV, which you can get a better version in EU).

NINJA FIVE-0

Very rare, and probably the dumbest name Ive ever heard, but it has one of the most fluid and refined movement gameplay Ive played in a side scroller before.

Don't forget Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow comes in the double pack with Harmony of Dissonance...

Maybe you'd want some of the Mario Advance games as well?

05. Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
 
I've been having a good time with Polarium Advance lately. Really works your grey matter.

Pinball of the Dead is quality videogame pinball, right up there with Devil's Crush.

Dr. Mario/Puzzle League is a must.
 
I believe in Astro Boy. Seriously, that is perhaps my favorite handheld game of all time, next to Pokemon Yellow and Pokemon Pinball for the GBC.

Other than that, Drill Dozer is some great gaming, too. One of the greatest final boss battles I have ever played.
