Sorry meant Duke Nukem 3D not the original Sidescroller(s).
I know I need a DRM free version which I can get from GOG, but what do I do with it when I get it?
Never mind, found it here
Edit: Okay still can't get it to work. Man I suck at this stuff.
Okay I'm starting to get the hang of this.
I got FBA up and running:

Good taste =) One of my favorite boards in my collection.
Why did I goto PAX?
For this project to stay alive after the KickStarter it needs exposure to attract more developers Indie and Commercial alike so the console library will be always evolving and growing.
It was also a place to make connections with other vendors to make the console and it's experience better for everyone.
I stated the amount of consoles shipped at PAX and met a lot of kewl KickStarter backers in the process. They also got to have a hands on experience with the hardware and it gave a good grueling test of the hardware in the four days and all units were still working and in good condition. So it was a good test of wear and tear on the system.
Did consoles ship while I was gone to PAX?
Yes as stated in update I made a deal with a local shipping house and fedex to do shipping also so consoles continue to ship. I will still continue to ship also to boost the numbers and ensure shipping gets out there.
I understand everyone wants their pledge reward and I will do my best to ensure you get them as soon as possible. But to not answer e-mails from other Vendors, KickStarter Backers, and new fans would make this project for nothing as we would have nothing after fulfilling the KickStarter pledges.
I have to take the time to reply to e-mails trivial or just information or concerns to just ignore them would be rude and counter productive to the project and the purpose of KickStarting it in the first place.
Alot of projects not naming any are way over their expected dates it's not an excuse just a fact all of the projects for most part are just like me one to three people operations on logistics side with a great idea and the ability to produce the product.
The stalemate to the equation is getting it out to everyone and staying in budget you have from KickStarter funds you raised.
We've had our delays in this project let there be no doubt and have tried our best to navigate through them with as little effect to you the backers as we can.
This project means alot to me hence I have put mostly my own funds to fund development and produce the prototypes that were shown and even now after the KickStarter pledge portion has ended.
I funded PAX out of my own money just as I'm funding and covering the excess cost of shipping that has arisen due to delays and the swap of D-Pads and buttons shipping costs back to China then back to the States.
Once again thank your for your faith in the project and your pledge to make this project/start-up a reality with out you and the early adopters this dream would have died along time ago.
Please read these to get a better understanding of what KickStarter purpose and what it is for:

LOL good question. Please, someone tell me where I can get one of those. I will appreciate a page that actually have it in stock.
Wish I could help but I don't fucking have mine yet...I'm having trouble getting FBA running if anyone doesn't mind helping me out?

Apparently this site called Ithic managed to get some units from Barwick before he finished fulfilling all the Kickstarter orders (which is pretty shady if you ask me)

You would be too if you had to deal with shipping units back to China for the d-pad replacement on your own dime, and randompeopleasshats on the internet hated you for the delay it caused. There are no more Kickstarter funds -- that's why shipping has been delayed.
The amount of hate this guy is getting is really starting to irk me. He's not the best communicator, and yeah, that makes things seem shady, but he's gotten better at transparency as the project's progressed. There's been a bit of a lack of contingency planning, and I think he'll put a bit more padding into the budget and cost estimates on the next project. I haven't seen anything yet that tells me he's trying to pull any shenanigans.
Just wait until you get the Zero in your hands. It's actually really cool, and I'm glad Justin has been able to see his dream through.
Hmm, tempting.
I love handhelds, but I have a feeling I'd regret it.
If you have a bigger budget id recommend an Nvidia Shield. This thing is amazing for emulators, and the battery life is bananas.

I have one already lol. That's the main reason I was thinking I'd regret getting a GCW Zero.
I'd mainly use this as a much morele emulate ator machine I can just throw around without worrying about it breaking/scratching, perhaps carry it in my pocket.
Shield doesn't fit in my pocket and I'd never throw it around as I'm afraid of even scratching/scuffing it![]()
It's not that shady for him to ship a bunch to Ithic before taking care of his backers? Not really that shady. Link (the guy who runs Ithic) is very respected in the OpenPandora community and he probably just got a resale deal with the GCW Zero guy, as he does with Pandora.

The point is there is no KickStarter money left after production and delays and fixing of issues we found out like bad d-pad and buttons, and paying the developers till about a month ago.Setting funds aside for shipping which has ended up costing more then estimated by USPS to me.
The only funds left are the funds that are set aside for shipping but we strive on and try to keep the dream alive and work our magic at events and media socials to ensure the project continues after everyone gets their KickStarter Console.
This is my dream and now alot of your dreams also and I thank you all for your efforts and comittment and most of all your good wishes and loyalty through all of this.
You can buy one cheaper from Thinkgeek next month. They have them for $150. He clearly ran out of money and needs to sell some to retailers to fund the rest of the Kickstarter.
Hopefully the motivation of making money will get him to be more productive. He clearly wasn't that motivated to ship kickstarter units since that group of people who helped him that one weekend managed to do finish like 700 units in a few hours, while it took him months to do 150.
I'm in the market for a portable emulator machine, and was interested on the GCW Zero, but it doesn't seem to be worth it at this point. Is there any other emulator device that works well?
Edit: That's not a PSP.
That explains the last update where he remainds us that Kickstarter is not a store, Im going to call Visa and hope they can do a charge back. What a joke.
I honestly don't know what is current and up to date. I know there are tons of Android handhelds with buttons(like the JXD systems), but I'm not up on those.
As for older stuff there is
Dingoo A320
GP2X
GP2X Wiz
Gamepark Caanoo
OpenPandora
Of those I think the Pandora is the only one still being made, the rest you will probably have to buy used. The Pandora is expensive as well. I think it's pushing $500.
That looks nice, but there is something to be said for a device that was designed to do it in the first place. That was probably what PaulExcellent was looking for since he said "not a PSP".
Again, I do have to recommend the latest android mobile plus a gamepad add-on. SNES9x EX runs like a fucking dream, with at most 1 frame of frameskip in Yoshi's Island. With a snap on gamepad, it's like a mini console:
Full speed GBC with John GBC. Full speed SNES with SNES9x EX. Fullspeed NES with nes.emu. fullspeed Neo Geo with neo.emu. fullspeed PS1 with ePXSE. Even a fucking brilliant DS emulator in DraStic. I could go on for every console - the range is superb.
And of course, it's a phone. Honestly, I was all for the GCW before, but now I can play DKC2 at full speed with real controls on my phone? Nah.
Is that controller wireless? Did U have to root?
Retroarch on my HTC One is a horrendous laggy mess. Try SNES9x EX. It's free, and it should run absolutely flawlessly on a nexus.
I might need to try it again in comparison to the free version of Sonic CD on the Play store. That native Android port felt fine, so it's a good one to test against. Even still, I think iOS is the better OS for gaming since it doesn't have any stutter sometimes from background processes and audio and video latency is better. Games tend to come out on iOS first and there's awesome stuff like Super Crate Box that have never come to Android too.SNES9x Ex also runs well and has a little less input lag, but not enough to feel good to me.

I have an emulator setup like that with my Galaxy Note 8.0, and is one of the methods I use to review my old games that are stored away, or in my other home. I was looking for a handheld because of my Galaxy S3's battery life. Still, I like that Bluetooth controller. How is it?
Why not? I'm just using it to compare the response time between pressing a button and something happening on screen. I figured Taxman's native port of Sonic CD on Android was a good way to test if the lag was because of my controller setup or because of the emulators. On PC, I've gotten it low enough with Hard Sync Frames 0 and running on my 120hz monitor that it's the same or better than the Steam version of Sonic CD (running at 60hz since it runs at 2x speed at 120hz).You're never going to find anything that runs better than Christian Whitehead/Taxman's Sonic CD and Sonic 1 ports. They aren't emulated - they're built from the ground up on his own engine. That's why they run in widescreen resolutions. Same for the PS3 and Steam versions.
You cannot compare them to emulators. There's no comparison.
Wait, so the consoles he is finishing are being sent to retailers instead of the KS Backers??!
