That is pretty close timing. If I was Sony I would put a teaser trailer for a game at VGX and end it with, "see more/gameplay at our show on the 6th and 7th"

Did you miss last year's show? None of the publishers had anything much to show. The only real announcement was from a small indie, Hello Games.

The fact that the VGA/X's still exists is a big surprise to me. I was positive that it died with the Viacom sale but I guess they forgot to flush the toilet on their way out of the building.

The VGAs HAD a pretty long history of getting a lot of major game announcements and reveals. That's the only reason people watch it.

They did when it was the VGAS and it was featured on Television. Last year publishers did not give a shit about the VGX.

We'll have to see if that remains the case this year. If it's still the same thing it was last year I think we will be seeing more Mobile games from remedy again.
