Huh, didn't think Amnesia was this popular.

Yeah, that's probably it. People love bargains. And Amnesia is a pretty well-regarded horror adventure.People see 90% off and jump on it, I guess. I'm more surprised Amnesia is still $20 regularly.
just saw this thread...
So, did Planescape go on sale yet??
it's not going on sale since we're at 2010 already
Hopefully people that buy Amnesia can play it. Preordered it from the devs site back in may 2010, and still haven't gotten out of the starting area because I'm to chicken. Same thing with Outlast and Slender: The Arrival. I like the idea of these fp horror games with no weapons, but they are nerve racking, more so with headphones on.
Their download servers are tanking, estimated an hour + for a 1 gig download 185KB/sec
It's one of those games where I revisit it once I muster enough courage, get a little farther, then have an anxiety attack and put it back on the shelf. Wash, rinse, repeat.
3.5 hours for Amnesia, holy crap.
No witcher 2..... *flips table*
And now we get into the "Indie games you probably own already" part of the sale.
Note that thanks to this post, we probably know the 2011-2013 games (Unepic, Legend of Grimrock, Spelunky). So 2010 seems to be the only real mystery.
Come on GAF, convince me why I should get these last three games in the sale!
because it's going to cost you as much as a subway footlong
Would I be missing much in terms of Steam Workshop content if I bought Grimrock from GoG? I know this was supposed to be quite open in terms of creating user generated content, but I don't know how much of that actually materialized.
kinda tempted to double dip on Spelunky (have it on Steam, get a DRM-free copy with extras on GOG) but not sure I can really justify the cost on it right now
Very interesting idea for a sale, but it sucks that you could miss out if you have to work and such.
