While I think the way this sale works is a cool idea (and I may be in the minority there) it kinda sucks that we blew through the 90's while the entire western hemisphere was asleep, but now that we're awake we're stuck on the year 2000 XD

I think you are right. Going to have to adjust to life in a world where Deus Ex is the only purchaseable game on sale. Going to see Deus Ex at the grocery store, the mall....it's everywhere.

So I guess this sale is going on until next year at this rate. Anyone wanna start placing bets on when Deus Ex actually reaches 0? I honestly think it could last another 10 or so hours.

By my calculations, Deus Ex sold more copies today than the number of fans Ion Storm lost because of John Romero.

I guess it would have been bad for the 90s to be all Sierra games, but would have been nice to see some of the other "Quest" packs. My game collector OCD is going nuts right now.

Aw yeah, Deus Ex, my favorite game ever. It's gonna be up there for a while, I recommend it to everyone.
For some reason I am sorely tempted to do the same but is there any actual benefit to owning it on GOG? Last time I played it I remember having to install a DX9 renderer for it, I assume I'd have to do the same with the GOG version?

I feel like it'll be Arcanum.
Hopefully if it is Arcanum it will get downvoted into oblivion quickly. That game was the reason I stopped blind-buying on GOG.
In half an hour it'll have been up for six hours. That's $14,400, which is about a year of tuition at a state college. So nyah.
