Is golf a physical sport? The characters all look really out of breath! 
I agree the mix of big pixels and the high-res overlays is a bit jarring, but I suppose one can get used to it. Will keep an eye on this, I don't like sports games in general but golf has often been an exception.

Just bought this and have been playing. Agree the mix of high-res and pixels is very distracting. The sound track is pretty...bad too. But, the game is pretty fun. For $14.99, its a lot of fun. The golfing portion is very easy to get the hang of. Reminds me of Legend of the River Fish, a fishing RPG game on the GameBoy Advance, and thats a good thing.
