Quick access to various settings via the notification menu, like in CM9:

Does CM9 allow hiding of the notification toggles? If not, I prefer AOKP in that regard

I think that's just the url for the Android sessions through out the day.

Oh. But the time it's counting down to matches the time of the first keynote...?

EDIT: Ok, just saw the link for tomorrow also has "Android" in the title. So I guess that means nothing.

Looks like some Google home / media streaming devices may be shown and released as well

Hope they'll be showing off some of the results from their google tv hackathon they had about a month ago.

Nexus 7 and Nexus Q fuuuuu

You understand that the Nexus Q currently supports only Google Play Music; Google Play Movies and TV; and YouTube, and that your use of those services is subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

In order to use the Nexus Q, you understand that you will need your own: (i) phone or tablet running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) or higher with access to Google Play; (ii) compatible speakers, AV system or HD TV; and (iii) 802.11a/b/g/n access point Wi-Fi router.

Looks like a slingbox type device, awesome. This is probalby what they were testing a few months ago with an FCC temp license.

Q?

Where is my Nexus Bond?

I get the whole Q-ueue name, but still.

That's the worst looking tablet hardware layout we've seen in a while. I ... don't get why Google produces shit like this if that's going to be the actual design.

It's probably a better setup for when you go into landscape, less wasted vertical space. Still looks ugs though. =/

how many of you have seen a 7" tablet before? They ALL have a huge bezel, that shouldn't have been a surprise.

Nexus Q: The return of project tungsten/android@home?

doubt edit: its a streaming media player! source

Come on, guys. It's not that ugly for a Nexus device.

I might even get it as a replacement for my lost iPad 3. Should be good enough until the iPad 4 comes out.

Google wants that living room space.

Probably will be some partnership announced with OnLive or another Roku box.

They should have gotten the Q guys to design the tablet.

Way to fuck over vizio and other google tv supported google. jeez.

This is some sci-fi looking stuff right here:

Holy shit at all those cables. What's going on? Power + HDMI + Ethernet (if it's not wireless)... that's three. Don't know what the rest are for.

I'm guessing all this new media stuff will be US only as per usual with google. :/

Of course it will. As a non-US Google user you're forever doomed to only look longingly at all the things you don't get.

Who knows.

It almost looks like it's done for aesthetic reasons. To me it almost looks like a wirey hand reaching into the ball.

People defending the look of the Nexus tablet from the early rumor shots are seriously deluding themselves. The bezel, the fact that it looks to be running the phone version of ICS, the ugly stupid search bar covering the whole thing... THE BEZEL.

If that shot is what it looks like, then it's stupid and it won't succeed and it'll be an after thought. If it's successful I will personally record an internet video of me eating something nasty, like soggy leaves.

Video confirms Play Music is getting a minor facelift and Nexus 7 is using a phone layout

Play Music getting a split tablet layout?

Also they're FINALLY making music what is should have been in the first place, a social music service. Hopefully the new social stuff extends beyond @home.

ICS doesn't have a phone version, it's all the same thing.

Not to interested in the q after the video, give me a google tv over that.
