When setting up my circles, I noticed it says Invite (# of people in circles) to Google+, anyone ever tried just that to see if you can get around the 10 invite limit?

It let me invite my friend. Though I don't know if he got an email or not.

Yeah, i had that problem with the Salty Crackers one, but it worked when a gaffer invited me.

I want to do it but I'm not sure exactly what kind of privacy that will have. Will it be automatically Only Me?

yea the android syncing by default = just you

Instant Upload uploads photos and videos from your Android device to a private album on Google+ without having to plug in any cables.

Your photos and videos will show up in the "Photos from your phone" section.
Nobody can see them unless you explicitly share them.

If you already have the Google+ app, turn on Instant Upload in "Settings."
Or download Google+ from the Android Market.
