i thought sending direct email invites were disabled.

i think it is because the invite button doesn't appear anymore

you have to add the email to a circle and just post something in that circle. they should receive a email about it

oh i'll try that. they should of just left the invite button like yesterday.

add gmails to one of your circles.

share/post something to that circle.

emails will be sent to those gmails with an inviation to learn more about google+.

that worked for me. other people have gotten through clicking on the "view or comment on XXXXXX's share" link though.
