Google Opinion Rewards is the secret best Android app

The more you shop/visit physical locations, the more surveys you get - and it helps to keep location tracking on, btw
 
Abut $40 here the last two years, have noticed more lately since I got a new phone, better battery so been leaving location on. Bought a few games last year but mostly spend on Sonic Runners events now.
 
my lifetime since 11/8/13 is $30.16. there was almost 6 months where i didn't receive any surveys. it comes in handy when i need to spend on some useless shit in-game or to pay for a "pro" version of an app.
 
It's been a whole day snice I got the app an not one survey so far.

You'd think they would at least give you something meager to avoid people from deleting it.

I'll give it another day before I delete this shit.

Each survey is - on average - 1 to 3 questions and takes literally a few seconds to complete. Often times it's just:

"Have you been here?"
"If so, what time?"
"Here's 35 cents!"

Single-questions surveys are 10/11 cents and take a second or two. It's not money I'm relying on to pay for anything. I just do the surveys and one day I'll notice, "Oh hey, I have $50 accumulated."

This isn't Amazon Turks.

lol sorry, should have mentioned the surveys I do are not related to this Google App.


With my surveys, the account and survey system come from subsidiary of a TV Network via Email. Microsoft just happens to be a partner with this TV Network which is how I get Xbox Gift cards, they also offer iTunes gift cards and other Aussie stuff.


The "reward" is alright compared to other systems.

25c for wasting your time (do not fit 'specific' criteria)
$1 for 1-5minutes of your time.
$2 for 5-10 minutes
$5 for 10-30 minutes

You redeem your "reward money" for gift cards ranging from $10-$100.

For me, it's a great way to get Xbox credit without spending any of my actual "work" money.
 
The trick guys is to figure out how to answer questions in a way that will get you more questions.

"Do you water ski?"

Hit no, and you have ten cents.

Hit yes, and sometimes it'll take you through more questions, and you end up with 50 cents.

Hence why I've made 60 bucks while being one of the least sought after demographic (early 30s female)

you could turn notifications off but still have the surveys waiting for you whenever you go into the app, yes?
 
I think they've been picking up in the UK lately. Though it asked me "which of these stores have you been to lately.." 2 options were Lakeland and MacDonald's which I have been to in the last week. Weird because before then I hadn't been to either in aaaages so I wonder if it is location based then.
 
The people using it that have earned around a dollar in a year's time probably don't leave their house much, seeing as it's based on your geological location and the places you visit. Serves you right, you hikkikomori weirdos.
 
Just looked at my history. I've made ~$47 in the past year. Not too shabby for 10 seconds here and there.
 
I'm not going to sell my soul in aggregate so Google can control the world, fuck that.
 
This would be great if there was anything worth buying on the play store. I think I still have money sitting in my account from gift cards people keep giving me at christmas/birthdays.

Yeah the 1.00 surveys are rare. They normally average around .50 to .65 cents or so. And you get one every day on average it seems for me. But apparently how often you get them depends on how much you travel? I have location on and I'm in the US so its pretty reliable.

Apparently its because we have location on in the OS/Maps. I didnt think about that, but I often get surveys through the week like. "When was the last time you were at Home Depot?" And Im like.... Yesterday brehs.

I assume thats them using the data to shine up their location mapping.

Also, being a sought after demographic also gets you more surveys.
 
If you have factory reset your device or just installed the app, make sure you actually run it once and get through the introduction screens. I forgot to do that a few times on fresh installs. I though that I just wasn't getting any surveys..

I usually get them every couple of days now.
