Someone also stated that they believed that Sony got the versions mixed up when they printed the 1st copies of GT5 and that they had to delay the game to print the right version. Sounds crazy enough to be true, especially when it comes to Sony these days

However, i don´t think they are that smart, and i won´t set myself for disappointments. This is the final version and we will play the heck out of it.

• ported over from GT4
• no interiors, no cockpit view
• damage: mechanical damage, dirt, scratches, dents
• headlights: off, on

vs

Premium Cars
• brand new, highly detailed models
• interiors & cockpit view
• damage: mechanical damage, dirt, scratches, dents, dislodging and deformation of body panels
• headlights: off, low beams, high beams

Can't believe shit like go-karts made it and they only have 170 new car models.

I would like to shed light on the versions some users have. They are copies of GT5 but the first run that was pressed wasn't the gold version. The version that was pressed was preview code. Don't ask me how / why I know because those questions are not something I will answer.

Yes it has.
But its not a game breaker i think.

EDIT: mhmhm So someone messed up and printed a preview build or ... those are review copies.

It would fucking suck if I had seizure-like events from tearing. I wouldn't be able to play the majority of console games if so. Triple buffering+vsync ftmfw!
 
Wait. I didn't give a shit about this game but B-Spec sounds interesting. I like building/managing stuff and seeing where it goes.
 
Just got off the phone with my local gamestop. Asked if they were doing a midnight release and the dude says "No we aren't. The last one we're doing is Assassins Creed 2" I say "Assassins Creed 2 over GT5 thats a little silly dont you think?" He says "Well honestly we had nearly every preorder canceled when it was delayed so we probably wouldn't have a big showing and on top of that Sony didn't say anything about it so I think everyone is changing their minds about it." I just say "Cool thanks" and hang up.

Love how GS employees feel the need to share with me their view of the current video game climate. So annoying.
