Awesome news that the license mode is back. Thats something I suppose. God I hope there is enough track variety though. Damn PD get to it.

Oh and that rally video at night is sex.

· More than 20 tracks with more than 70 variations featuring famous world circuits and real-world city locales.

Only 20 tracks is really disappointing, don't we know all of them already? I think this is the least amount of tracks a main GT game has ever shipped with.

Nobody really knows how many tracks there are. There can't be THOSE 20 tracks only. 70 variations is A LOT.

Yoboman said Forza has 100 variations from 19 locations. So I'm sure there must be more tracks.

20 single tracks from 5 years just sounds ridiculously LOW.

Well to be fair I think they said more than twenty tracks... so 21 perhaps :lol

Nah, it was an old GT4 world map. But it had errors on it so I took it down. We haven't seen GT5's map yet.

I see. I would settle for something like htis actually, not too spectacular but functional and classy.

So is there any truth to Sony's final showing/announcement of a new demo?

The guys on GTPlanet are freaking out about it. I didn't know if this was bs or not.

I haven't heard anything about it. This is supposed to be a Q&A day with Kaz.

My logical vote would go to Mercedes-Benz because the whole SLS and MB partnership, but more is always better.
I'm expecting any of the following:

Ferrari
Red Bull/Toro Rosso
Mercedes
McLaren
Renault

Less likely teams:

Honda
Toyota
BMW
everyone else currently in F1

I hope they keep the world map simple and stylish. Although it's possible that a GT4 style layout just wouldn't be practical anymore considering the amount of content in GT5. You'd need a map to find your way around the world map.

i would guess it would be real map, something it was hinted with GT5P and you will be able to see some real time info from those locations...

20 tracks is fine by me but yes 70 variations sounds a little weird. The reaction of Yamauchi every time he is asked about the track editor makes it seem like some what of a certainty that it will be included in the game. It's obviously not going to be Modnation but if I had to guess PD will give a track and you will be able to break it up and change it the way you want. The amount of content this game has is just incredible, no wonder it's the first game I'm buying and not renting since that piece of shit MGS4. GT5 will be played for years to come.......until we get GT6. :P

Something like the app on Xmb would be cool. You can do some folding whilst you're navigating the menu or doing anything non-racing related.

Just made my second pre-order for GT5 this morning. The lady behind the counter at EB Games stated "You GT fans have been making my life a living hell the last few days" :lol

Did you slap her and tell her to show some respect?

I'd like to know where can I pre-order the Limited Edition in Europe >.<

Post is going up on the Eu blog in the next two-three weeks apparently. I bet the UK gets shafted again, price wise.

And nice @ Top Gear Track

OMG

I thought this one was real until I looked at the van :lol

I was like... "sweet new day time in the top-gear track, guess can have day-night cycle in that one as well", then "oh nm, this is a real photo"... "no wait... no it's not"

:lol

I really hope the rumor on the Passo dello Stelvio is true. I really want to race it, it would be like a dream come true.

That track looks awful, in a good way though. I predict I would curse that track the first time it shows up in a tournament and then start to love it.

WOW, he just said the 3D version is also 1080p

MIND BLOWN!

*edit* beaten

I'm starting to think the major reason for the delay was the 3D, and Sony is gonna push 3D Gaming and 3D TVs HARD with GT5.

I suspected it was either 3D or working on the online that pushed it back another year myself. Yeah, they're going to try to push 3DTV sales because of this game no doubt. Who knows what else they added in the delay time as well, but at this point there's no way they can delay it any further. Just get it out there. And give KY a deadline of 2019 for GT6 right now.

3D @ 1080p. What the...? That's crazy. What's the catch? There has to be a catch...

By playing this game you concede your soul to the devil, or, Ken Kutaragi, who ever is the highest bidder.
