I can't recommend this enough. Imagine Event Horizon crossed with the occult, by way of Jodorowsky. The writing is insane, multi-layered, and the art is wonderfully gruesome. Morrison hits on all cylinders, and is at his utmost surreal here. If you're into horror, then this is right up your alley. The trade edition comes out in March and I can't wait to buy it.

'NAMELESS tells the story of a down-at-heel occult hustler known only as "Nameless" who is recruited by a consortium of billionaire futurists as part of a desperate mission to save the world. A massive asteroid named Xibalba—the "Place of Fear" in Mayan mythology—is on collision course with the planet Earth. Exactly what I wanted to know.At this point, I don't know that I really enjoy reading comics during their run as much as I like to read the complete story once it's finished. Grant Morrison is tops for me in terms of writers who still put out work, so I definitely want to check this out. In trades.

X-Men was great, though the ending stumbled a bit.

Fair enough, I used to be a bit like that but I've done a full 180 and now I reckon my old paper comics just look like crap next to their digital versions - if you don't have the right size tablet there's no point trying though.

Just finished it. Lot of layers to unpack. Some really great images that are gonna stay with me. Sorta seemed like it ended in the middle of the story though. All in all, it was pretty great and I'm definitely gonna pick up the trade. Might grab one for my brother too, seems like something he'd be into.
