I remember all those October dates for GTA's of last generation. I was ready for a later release- it just didn't seem to add up to release it so soon.

Summer would have been perfect. But I can wait. TBOGT playthrough number a zillion, commence!

I suspect the delay is because they will port it over to the next gen consoles. Cross-Gen game.

Eh, it's technically a delay I think. They've been saying "Spring 2013" with all of their recent media. The GameStop hear me has a few of those cardboard display things that say "Preorder Now - Spring 2013".

they're already accepting pre orders for a spring 2013 release. but no media being released really screams that they're not that ready. not even a boxart is ready

I expect a cross gen game. They wouldn't move it to next gen completely due to having no base but it wouldn't hurt to put a better running version out on those.
