I mean, holy fucking shit or what?!

As great as San Andreas's OST was, Vice City trumps it, and several other games that boast impressive songs. It's a dream come true for someone who grew up in the 80s, early 90s

I want to boot up the game now.

I bless the rains down in Africaaaaaaaa

I agree! Absolutely love it. Also the only time my mother would sit with me and watch me play Xbox (she loved the soundtrack)

probably my first true gta game to finish to completion. music was awesome. Even better was the going into the Malibu club and see those horribly awkward dance moves to these songs. I still make fun of it to this day with my brother.

Emotion 98.3 has to be the BEST radio station not just in the series, but in any game where you can switch on a station. Fuck, so good.

I love how Billie Jean was automatically the first song you heard, the first time you hijacked a car in the game. Shame that it had to be removed from the PC version.

This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.
Was this the first game with such a significant, expansive licensed soundtrack? It sure felt like it at the time. I just remember being completely blown away when the songs were announced.

Regardless, it's still my favorite.

Agreed.

Loaded up FLAH FM, WAVE, and FEVER on to the iPod for the yearly family summer car-trip. The wife and kids loved it!

I think I'll die if they announce the next GTA is set in the 80s, and boasts an equally amazing song list from the era.

Vice City and GTA V are the only two in the series to get my actively listening in.

Flash FM, Wave 103, FlyLo FM, and Radio Mirror Park are all my jams. Love 'em.

Although I think SA and V are far superior games, I totally agree here. Saying that though SA has a pretty nice song selection too overall and V's wasn't too bad either.

What time is it?
I love all three of the soundtracks from the PS2 era games. The radio stations in IV and V don't come close to the quality found in those titles.

Yes, that was perfect.

I truly hope R* puts a Vice City throw back in V HD version. I'd be so HAPPY.

It's set in the 80s = unfair advantage to all other generations to date! The 70s would be the best runner up but the 80s will still win best generation of music from all genres.

I was incredibly disappointed by IV's music, but V made it look like the best selections out there. Seriously, what did V have? I don't remember.

Vice city's music definitely complimented the game's atmosphere the best compared to other sequels. I'll wait until gta 5's expanded music offerings before I decide which is 2nd best.
