Weren't there several hacking-themed BBS door games that worked similarly? I swear, these asynchronous multiplayer browser games are just shades of my pre-internet youth on a 2400 baud modem.

3 hits 2 defeats when I was sleeping, guess I got off light. Lost ~41k credits overall and 200 machines. But when I logged in I was at 90k credits which is well over my vault.
Ah well, bought ADSL2x2, vault lvl 11, and 4 more Kentsfields.

I'm only at 1800 per tick currently.
Had a bad morning; used my 5 IPs, and only got 5k total. No attacks on me though, which is nice.

Some bastard nearly ruined my virus upgrade plans by attacking just after I had accumulated over 120k. Good thing I had an IP left. Could've been screwed there.
Clean IP's = attack points. One attack per point. The victim always knows who hit them.

Well got some good hits off my 3 ips before I head to class. Upgraded Vault to 13 from 11 and purchased another 6500 Mhz (had to sell a Kentsfield to make the price difference).
Ok, just cleaned out someone on my alt, so I think I'm going to dump omnicent into the wild so I can add Esaria to the crew.

I should probably upgrade my bandwidth so I can hit bigger targets. The most I can get out of people within my range is like 5k10k.

So I was spying on ATOT's forum and came across some intelligence info: This account is possibly a dead account being used by an ATOT member as a farm. If anyone has enough bandwidth (his mhz rank is 287th) you may be able to hit him up for over 100,000 cr if ATOT hasn't cleaned him out completely.
