Had a few beers, then a game idea.

Nag-Attack – Your wife is home. She will make your work difficult. You will be name-called, you will be called out for you incompetency, she might borrow tools or the manual for a few minutes and tell you how it is done – Which usually isn’t 100% accurate. You are on a shorter time limit as she wants her shit assembled asap
Haha, lost my shit.

it's so true

I think it's hilarious, but I could see it being highly controversial to many politically correct folks (wife nagging bits).

This is actually a brilliant idea as it borrows a little from My Sims furniture building...which was the best part of the game. Toss in a little online and time attack, plus Miiverse...and maybe even a way of creating blueprints as challenges for others or even a way of using those prints for real life projects and this could be a helluva time waster.

Level up and you can build a house, pay to win it out of the chain and watch moms and kids build and furnish their dream home. Add in a character and clothing, seamstress type stuff as well. Buy fabric and stuff so they can have the latest style. This game is bigger than life.

I had this idea 10 years ago but my version was an Ikea expansion pack for the Sims, with real prices.

I think they eventually did do something like that.

....I like it.

Yep. You have the right idea here

That ending! Top class! It made me feel like... Bioshock Infinite!
How the whole game can be broken down into parts that didnt fit together :p

Hey dude, I have a better idea, go buy Garry's Mod. You can build whatever you want. Just saved you 2 years of developing a game.

You know I had a game idea too, although unfortunately I don't have enough posts to make a thread I guess ? Not quite sure. Anyways, I was watching the smite trailer and thought a combined birds-eye strategy/third person action game might be interesting.

The game would be all online, up to four armies (divided into FFA, 2v2, or 3v1, 3v1 or 1v1). Each army is controlled by up to 4 players, totaling 16 players on the map max.

Within each army, one of the players is the commander and this player plays the game from a bird's eye view, RTS style. The other 1-3, each command one champion w/ stronger abilities and spells etc, basically like a dota hero or one of the heroes in the WC3 normal RTS mode, except they play in 3rd person mode, as is the case in smite. Then the four of you cooperate to the benefit of your one army, with player one controlling the overall army and the other three working with him to tip the scales on the ground using the stronger characters. Kinda like a combination of smite, dota, battlefield 2, and the original WC3.

Thoughts? Sorry, no furniture

This actually sounds like a fun puzzle game. The instructions should be a physical object that you can flip through, zoom in and out on, and rotate. The harder the furniture, the more inaccurate the instructions - missing pages, backwards images, non-English text, etc.

Make it Surgeon Simulator style where you control a hand and have to pick things up/whack on things and physic stuff.

Great idea! Put it on PS3/4. Use the PS Move as screwdriver or hammer, etc.

Gotta think of micro transactions ideas.

Nag-Attack mode sounds hilarious. LOL
