this might come as a shock to you as a 343 employee, but Halo 3 online is still working and Guardian showing up in MM is not that rare.

Alright, but i'm not dismantling my main stage replica any time soon. So, you know, if you're ever in town my mom's basement has a freezer filled with tostino's pizza rolls.

I see two things happening.

He has it, he obviously wants in and will pm me it
He is lying.

Any other answer dosnt seem possible. I cant see what could be in it other than Stuff thats going to go up at edelman as soon as Halo 4 is announced and thus a PDF would be useless at that point.

If its real its going to be just a press release and we wont get that press release till the day it officially comes out because his "MS friend" wont of gave him the password till that day.

No but really, im not sure what good that MLG thread is going to do. It would have to gather thousands of participants to convince people that Halo has a large enough audience. Thats what its all about isnt it?

For me, Reach just isnt something I enjoy watching, I want MLG to consider Halo 4 when it comes out but tbh Reach not being MLG doesnt mean much at this stage. I know there are people like Tashi who love it, but if the general consensus is that its dull to watch then it doesnt stand much chance. (Is it dull to watch? I wouldnt really be able to judge because im quite biased against it just based on the gameplay.)

To be fair we haven't seen NBNS with new MLG color maps, last season bloom with sprint was incredibly boring with gray though. MLG did what they could but it does come down to the game. I think it could really bound back right now until Halo 4 comes out.

ZBNS is much more entertaining, and if we get MLG to use the anniversary maps then we're gold.

Yeah I was kinda looking forward to watching the pros play high stakes matches with ZBNS on Beaver Creek and even the other maps grey or not. The quality of the entertainment would have night and day difference with last season. But if a little break from the MLG events could help 343i notice how far Halo has fallen and what needs to be done for 4 so be it.

The only reason this may have any sort of significance is if it was done by the 343 admin team rather than just a mod. I figured a mod would oblige my request and just lock my less desirable thread... but an admin may have seen it differently. Perhaps, it is confirmed the showcase will be the unveiling of H4. I know we've all but confirmed this but even still to this day we haven't had any confirmation H4 will be at this event, much less to what capacity.

Just thought it was strange this happened the way it did.

Microsoft is set to reveal the first details about its upcoming Halo 4 first person shooter at the end of February, during its Xbox Spring Showcase event, at least according to a report coming from a magazine from Finland.

The formal reveal of Halo 4 is going to happen on February 29, when the Xbox Spring Showcase will be held by Microsoft in San Francisco.

Hmm cool. Would be nice to finally see some good info about the game. Been so caught up with the excitement for my next game purchase that I hadn't checked the thread in a long while and saw a few mentions of the date. lol

Dear lord the Halo 3 AR, I threw up everywhere. It would be cool to have a decent maps like Guardian in Reach.

Tashi I voted. My votes count as 5, so you're welcome.

So, MM shenanigans, etc. Played some action sack today. There is armor lock in Splockets. lol wut?

Also, played a DLC map in matchmaking, nearly fell out of my chair. It was splockets though, so didn't really matter haha.

I guess it was more of a discussion of why it happened the way it did and whether that was something a mod would've done or the web team. Obviously, if it was the web team, it could mean something totally different assuming they would let rumors and/or false claim threads die off rather than revive/merge my dead thread with the live one.

Like I said, I'm over analyzing. Didn't know it was common practice there.
