Has a cartoon ever made you cry?

Multiple times.
Futurama has done it to me with Luck of the Fryish and Jurassic Bark.
Up, Lion King.
Simpsons nearly got me with Maggies First Word. TAS has a few. The Iron Giant. Cowboy Bebop.

I'm not tough.

I've never straight up cried but there were many times where it got close. Namely:

Tales of Ba Sing Se (The Tale of Iroh) from Avatar's second season will likely get everyone a bit teared up.

Falling so slow
Like fragile, tiny shells
Drifting in the foam
Little soldier boy
Come marching home
Brave soldier boy
Comes marching home.

And Grave of the Fireflies.

The Snowman. It plays on British TV every Christmas, and I can't even make it past the opening sequence because it brings back horrible childhood trauma of how sad it is. One whole minute is all I can watch.

SPOILER -
The snowman melts :(

Also, very embarrassingly, I wept buckets at the bit in Little Mermaid where Triton destroys Ariel's grotto. I was, in my defence, about 6 at the time, but I just thought it was so mean.

Grave of the Fireflies was very good, but it didn't get me. Clannad with Clannad: After Story left me bawling though. It just built up the whole time, then a certain part hit in After Story and I lost it

So thanks to GAF, I decided to watch Jurassic Bark AND Grave of the Fireflies, knowing little what to expect.

Jurassic Bark got me pretty close, but I picked up my cat and felt good even though he had a look that said "OH HELL NAH, U GOTZ TO BE PLAYIN ME" cause he hates being picked up.

Grave of the Fireflies though, I lost my little sister to cancer 3 years ago. Last 10 minutes destroyed me completely. Gonna feel empty for a while now.

I can't even watch the beginning of the movie. I want everyone to watch the movie, but I can't watch it a second time myself.

Must be UP!

I was thinking what kind of a sick bastard would make people watch an opening like that! Really wasn't what I expected...

its a slow car crash. you know whats going to happen, but seeing it play out like it did....

Cried with happiness during loads of Ghibli films. Definitely remember damn near crying while watching Iron Giant.

If we are talking Animation, Up from Pixar made me very teary, what a beautiful film.

Totally forgot The Polar Express, that was stunning!

At the end of original Full Metal Alchemist, watching it with my little brother when
Ed sacrifices himself so that Al could live.
I was just like...I LOVE YOU MAN *bro hug*

Fuck Jurassic bark.

I had one of the worst nights of my life, tried to cheer me up by going out with friends and drink alcohol, came home and thought "well, if one thing always cheers me up, it's futurama"

........ :(

Probably a few from my childhood that I can't remember. But during my adult years, definitely the Jurassic Bark. I refuse to watch it again.

Hearing that music is enough to make me well up a little. Reminds me of every snowman I've every made.

No, although the beginning of Up came the closest.
Grave of the fireflies had it's moments but by the end I was just happy
they were finally fucking dying after sitting through the slowest movie I've seen in years

For me it's both Jurrasic Bark and Luck of The Fryish from Futurama, and Mother Simpsons & And Maggie Makes Three from The Simpsons.

Those guys know how to do it, or did, at least.

EDIT: Also will throw my vote in for Iron Giant.
SU PER MAN.

SPOILAARRRSS
EDIT 2: Toy Story 3, both the "furnace" scene and the very ending (Andy giving his toys to the girl), huge tear jerkers. Especially when i went to see the movie with my mum about 3 weeks before my A Level results were released (i.e. right before i found out for certain i'd be moving away to University).

Man, fuck that shit.

Toy Story 3 came out a week after my dad died. I needed some popcorn entertainment to take my mind off things, not an extended meditation on mortality and death. Came out of left field, and it didn't help that I was too young to really appreciate those kind of themes in TS1 and 2 when I saw them.

Leaves from the vine
Falling so slow
Like fragile, tiny shells
Drifting in the foam
Little soldier boy
Come marching home
Brave soldier boy
Comes marching home

Oh and when Pink Panther pushed over a dog. 3 year old me couldn't handle that shit.
