Halo games. Because I wanted to see all the kids crying.
DmC Devil May Cry.
Mainly because it tried to turn the series into something that it wasn't. It was a decent game in the end, but Ninja Theory's Dante is a horrible character.
Basically every mobile and Facebook game.
I have to wonder how attentive you are to how that series even plays to actually find DmC to be better than DMC4. The core gameplay is so much weaker in DmC. DmC yanks so much of the meat from previous games away, and you can even see the bones in DmC's combat. It tries to make this up with color coded enemies, which is a hilariously bad substitute.
Every Nintendo game. I wanna see them exit the console business ASAP.
I enjoyed the W101 review thread and I will enjoy the September NPD just as much. Nintendo fanboys are crazy as all hell which always makes me laugh.
everything about this thread is unhealthy

This is, if nothing else, a good summoning whistle for the most single-minded and embarrassing parts of GAF.
The worst part is that some of these posts are coming from grown ass people
In a perfect world I wish NT could make DmC2 while Capcom made DMC5 and so on, everyone wins
In fact I wrote my idea for DMC5 just a few hours ago
Come on MYE, fighting a Scandinavian Demon Jazz Band sounds kinda cool at least???
Why would you not want DmC to fail? It's an insult to it's fans. Thought up by greedy marketing men without a clue.
I also want the following games to fail:
Mario3DWorld
Mario Kart 8
Animal Crossing whatever
Smash Bros U/3DS
Nintendo needs to learn to innovate and stop cashing in on mindless drones willing to pay for the same shit every year.
Nintendo used to be better than this!
DmC. Geniunely enjoyed seeing it fail.
DmC reboot.
Coming from a DMC fan, I was so happy to see it bomb
According to Capcom it didn't.

Dude, why you gotta shit on my Wii U party?
the Konix Mastertronic or whatever it was called.
This is the only one I can think of.Dante's Inferno comes to mind.
I am by no means a huge Nintendo fan, but to say Nintendo systems and game play aren't innovative is a little far fetched.... actually, straight up rediculous
I agree they go back to the same well a lot, but not any more than any other franchise. Top 10 lists is littered with games that have a number after them.
i'm sure there's one, but i cant think of it...i generally don't like seeing bad sales #'s. i mean even when its konami's incompetent shit or namco expecting way too much from splatterhouse or the like, it still sucks.
i guess i wouldve felt that way about condemned 2? i really didn't like it at all, and kinda killed the series. i don't follow sales-age much so that's an assumption though. i didn't play dead space 3 cause i lost my interest after beating 2, but even when a series continues in a direction that's not for me, i don't usually wish failure upon it.
i really dont know what you're referring to here, it's puzzling
Does this list look innovative to you
Mario3DWorld - 3DS expansion
Mario Kart 8 - 3DS expansion
Animal Crossing whatever - N64 expansion
Smash Bros U/3DS - N64 expansion

They are just sequels or new entries in a give series. Same with 95% of games released today.Does this list look innovative to you

meant Konix Multsystem
The only one I can think of where I wanted the actual game to fail is the The War Z. Shady business practices, deceptive marketing, and complete arrogance coming from the developers really annoyed me. Otherwise, I can't really think of any other examples.

No , I don't understand why anyone would.
Games fall into 2 categories for me
* Games I want to buy now or sometime in the future
* Games I don't want to buy.
Actively wanting titles to fail is weird , especially given how close a lot of studios are from ceasing to exist.
I feel bad about it, but a selfish part of me of kind of does. Not so much a particular game, but more certain types of games.
Any and all Social, Mobile and Browser games from the likes of Square Enix and the rest of them. The flawed reasoning I have is if they all did terribly, they're more likely to release the types of games I want on more dedicated gaming platforms
