Final Fantasy 13 is a bit of a disappointment to some people, and the people that don't know about the new direction might end up getting burned. Some on gaf still don't know there are no cities, and that it's very linear with only battles as the main attraction. Battles that end up being X X change optima X X X. However I'm surprised that there are quite a few gaffers still interested in the game. A friend says he know he might not like it, but will still get it just to have it. So maybe you're right, but it's also being split between PS3 and 360, how much do FF games usually sell in the US. It sold around 2m in Japan and that's it's main market. The US now has awesome western rpgs that does so much more than jrpgs.
