VOLUME ONE OF HEROES BROUGHT TO YOU BY NISSAN VERSA
VOLUME THREE OF HEROES BROUGHT TO YOU BY NISSAN ROGUE!
VOLUME FIVE OF HEROES BROUGHT TO YOU BY ACTIVISION BLIZZARD

Bar Graph-U and all other Hiro/Ando dialog was great. It was nice seeing Darth Maul again (he's the Flash with knives). Just what is the naked-back girl's power? She isn't the tattoo-powered one right? I don't get what exactly they are doing (tattoo-guy and naked-back girl).

I still cringe when each of Claire's scenes begin. Can't tell if its habit from prior seasons, or if her writing has improved or not. Seems so, so far.

But overall, the premier had a nice pacing to it and was enjoyable. I even liked Ali Larter's scenes.

I thought this premiere was fantastic. Dark... decent guest stars who can act... intriguing changes to the characters to make them more similar to season one....

and then BAM

the season preview seems to point it off in another contrived direction, which I won't spoil here.

I think this is my trouble with what has happened to HEROES. To me, Season 1 was "The Next Men" or "The New Universe" stuff that Marvel did. It was people with powers coming to grips with them while fighting something they were just getting their heads around.

Since then there has always been some contrived "traditional comic book" plot device that just makes me go Meh. Even tonight my daughter was watching for a few minutes and she asked me "why would they do that?"

I like most of what went on this episode but I don't see it being stuck to based on the preview.

I don't get the picture that its her power. Perhaps a combination of both their powers that give that foresight.

What I did find humourous was her name. She is "Lydia the tattooed lady". Go look it up on YouTube. Add "Kermit" for the context I remembered it from.

Who's this Years Star Trek cameo?

Season 1 - Sulu
Season 2 - Uhura
Season 3 - Worf
Season 4 - ?
ZOMG: DARTH MAUL! :lol

I thought it was okay. Nice to see Teabag again.

Funny seeing Olivia from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit having a cameo in the episode.

Edit: Crap, there's nothing about the actress being in the episode. That detective lady looked and sounded very much like her.

Decent Episode. So that kinda killed the whole Bi romance angle rumor since Annie the girl is umm dead.

Zima is also the little girl from The Nanny lol

That wasn't a rumor... Zima is the girl it's happening with.

Hmm you are right. I did a good job avoiding too much heroes this time around heh. Even stranger now imagining the little girl from Nanny

Err, i quit since the villain arc, is it safe to watch this? Is everyone still running around with idiot balls glued to their arms?

Episode was good. The question that none of us can answer yet though is does the arc stay reasonably good

I think Bryan Fuller was still around when they were working on the first few episodes. We may be in for a sudden shift into shit-mode very soon.

So did Parkman actually transfer Nathan's mind into Sylar's body and take Sylar's mind into his own? That sounds better than just convincing Sylar that he's Nathan...

Damn, you're wary :lol .

They're not getting you again.

Ehhhhhh this college murder is going to take Clare all season to figure out.

When it would of taken this person 1 episode. 2 tops:

So, anything I need to know to watch this? I think I stopped watching after Season 2ish so anything I should note?

I don't suppsoe anyone knows when (and if) this season is hitting BBC 2?

It's a series I still find myself watching out of convenience because it's usually on British terrestrial TV a week after it's US air date more than anything else.

Parkman is back with his wife and child, Sylar's body is housing Nathan's mind, Sylar's mind or part of it is in Parkman's mind... but like my question above, I'm not too clear on that. The carnival is all new, so there's no background you're missing on that.

Well Nathan's mind isn't in Sylar's body as he was dead when they did the personality shift, basically Sylar's own personality was erased and he was then convinced he's Nathan and is using one of Sylar's powers unconsciously (the 'learn the history of any object when he touches it' power) to create a fake memory of something Nathan would have had a real memory about.

It makes sense in the convoluted logic of the show.

Sylar in Matt's head trying to turn him evil is pretty cool though. I also liked Nathan(Sylar)'s line about "I'm going to be a better me...".

Many seeds for a good season but it's very easy for this show to veer off course.

It's not really that convoluted. It's actually quite simple really

I'm a little pissed I missed the premiere...will there be a rerun before next week?

EDIT:

Will catch the premeire on Netflix and 360 this weekend with bf :)
Oh, it's gonna be up for streaming?

I still enjoy the show and I thought it was pretty good. I love T-bag so it was nice to see him in this. Claire's story is the only thing bringing down the show. You know by the end of the season she will have a major part in stopping the main villain too. Every year her story starts out the same way though...

Yup. Should be up by the end of the week. Normally takes a few days to get uploaded on there. It's already available to add

Even if the show was perfection, it'd be impossible to watch without dvr. Wtf is up with ads every 5 minutes?! God I miss bbc.

The signs are good. Have zero urge to watch this. I think I have given up. Hopefully last time I ever post in a Heroes thread.

Same. I switched off as soon as Claire appeared on screen. The sheer dread of having to watch the entire crappy side-plot just on the offchance of some cool Sylar action later on in the ep. bleh.

I enjoyed it, but I did ffw through Claire's scene at the party. The Activision is cool scene was too gag worthy to not ffw.

I like the Sylar/Nathan plot, but it's so fucked up I can't imagine it ending any other way than one of the actors leaving the show permanently, which sucks because they're the two best actors there.

Don't worry, the show will find a way for the Sylar that's inside Matt's head to manifest into real life and have him absorb all of Nathan's powers but still keep Nathan.

It sounds stupid as fuck but it's par the course for a Heroes plot line.

Matt's wife is going to cheat on him again. Gotta parallel how she can't fight who she is. Just how Sylar can't!

didn't she already? That guy was making regular deliveries, calling her a single mom...

yes, but I meant weren't they implying that she was already cheating again? Dude looked like he should be on the cover of some grocery store romance novel...

Yeah, I haven't finished the episode yet though. But it sucks when you see where things are going because every plotline has to parallel each other. >_<
