Heroes Volume 5 - "Redemption" - well, good luck with that.

I don't think a new time slot would help at all. Many people who watched Heroes have just abandoned it for good and I can't really say I blame them given its poor overall quality since the first season finale.

Plus, since shows usually spike in the ratings for their season premieres, in the coming weeks Heroes ratings will most likely drop even further. If NBC is smart (a big IF) they'll tell the writers this is the final season so that they can create some sort of a conclusion for the show.

This is the last season. No doubt. Does it have a full season order? Or just 13?

New season seems pretty awesome so far. And yeah, Claire's storyline is pretty dumb as usual. I'm so glad they killed off her roommate. She was a bitch. I'd punch her in the face if she tried to tell me what to do with my life.

The carnies seem pretty cool. Not sure if I like the tattoo ability though, but I guess it's a Heroes thing every season. I like that speedy power thing, but I really hope Peter never crosses with Ando so he can run back into the past.

heroes is focused on TOO MANY people
they should kill off 70% of the main cast so the actual interesting characters get some screentime

the following need to get ditched immediatly

1) Claire....school teen drama v4.0 (every fucking season the same boring shit)
2) Waterwoman....danko is dead go live a normal life now and GTFO
3) Claires mother,brother and mr muggles........GTFO
4) Parkman and his wife and baby.........G.....T......F......O
 
Now that it's the last season, they can kill off people, right?

At least get rid of Claire. This daft bitch has no purpose. "hurr durr I'm gonna jump out my window cuz I can heal BUT I JUST WANT A NORMAL LIFE WAAHHHH"

Peter still has potential as a cool character. Um, yeah, him and "Nathan" are the good characters. Everyone else should fuck off. The only cool thing that can happen is fat cop going mental and being the villian, and "Nathan" becomes the hero and stomps his brain flat. He should just be like "yeah, I was Sylar, but now I'm Nathan and have powers out the ass. Superman-ho! *rocket punch Claire into the sun*" Last few episodes have Nathan wearing an American flag cloak and fighting crime. Peter becomes all depressed and kills Hiro cuz that shit needed to get done. America tries to nuke Peter and he does. Show ends with Nathan stopping WW3 while munching on the brain of a Chinese vampire.
 
Personally, the only main characters I really wish they'd get rid of are Claire, her mother, and the Tracy triplets. The others are alright.

Guess I'm the only one that likes Parkman.

Spoilers ahead.

Claire... her storyline has no place so far at all. I don't care about her personal life. They should have her using her powers to try and save people, like she wanted.

Parkman... become the villain so they can kill you. Please. I wish I had your power and you were a real person so I could just make you do it yourself. Why do you constantly lie to your wife? Its always the same shit with that guy. Just man up.

Peter... actually not hating his direction right now.

Mohinder... I assume he was captured off camera just so they could spare us the tedium of seeing it happen again.

The carnival folk... ugh. Just awful. The compass what, can tell if someone has powers? Only points to the buried treasure if someone with powers holds it? Does Peter have some destiny to use it for something? Ugh. Whatever.

Hiro/Ando... I understand the need to have neutered his power. But he's dying? Especially when he uses his powers? But he can involuntarily move through time? I'm confused. The rest of the audience probably is too.

I should have stopped watching after season 1.

Dont listen to Blader, he loves LOST S5. That alone qualifies him as crazy. In other words, yes, Chuck gets that good. Especially in the second season.
 
Don't listen to Solo or Blader, the former hates LOST S5, the latter hates Chuck :p.

Chuck is incredible. Especially S2. Boy, what a season.

I think you have me confused with someone else.

And like I said, I haven't seen all that much of Chuck, but based on the first handful of S1 episodes that I have seen, it's not that good and actually kind of annoying. If it gets better later on, I wouldn't know that.

I do like s5, but in retrospect I don't like it nearly as much as I did when it was first airing, and I've said that a couple times semi-recently.

And yes, I still cant believe my goddamn cable switched over to some other shit that episode and I didnt get to see the Locke reveal, which was made especially bad by the fact that I posted a rant about no Locke :lol

Some of us are. Gotta be the most polarizing season of the show. Everyone I talk to seem to have one of two opinions on it.

1. ZOMG BEST SEASON EVAR
2. WTF IS THIS SHIT WORST SEASON EVA

Its funny. A month ago i had yet to see a single episode of heroes and here i am at the season premier excited to see more. God Bless netflix streaming.

For years i heard how bad it was, so my expectations were incredibly low and it surpassed them. Also, like when i watched lost online earlier this year, there was no real frustration from episode to episode because the next one was just a click away. No time to dwell on the bad. Also, i loved the way season 3 ended.

I don't get why Claire and her roomie refused to believe that the annoying chick would commit suicide. She seemed exactly the kind who would do it if she felt her perfect trajectory wasn't going to work.

Not really. Just a few select people. For the most part, it got lots of love. The only crappy part of it was the amnesia thing. That was silly, but better than the worst part of season 4 (
hyping up Michael's return, only to have him interact with ONE old cast member he knew until the finale where he interacted with two more for two minutes -- then killing him
).
 
I finally got a chance to watch. Darn local affiliate and its weak OTA power. Anyway, is tattoo guy's power that he can shape ink... or telekinesis? He made the ground close up over the casket in the beginning!

Also, Claire's lesbian life-mate is H-O-T. She also obviously killed the roommate and made it look like a suicide.

Chuck fucking rocks. The first part of Season 1 is a little shaky as they're getting their footing then but the last part of S1 and all of S2 is awesome.
