I hope NBC gives the writers enough notice when they cancel the series that they can come up with a real finale.

I'll write it for them right now:

Hiro gets his powers back. Completely. Sword and all.

He travels back to NYC, the time of the finale for S1, where they all gather.

Dressed in an all black ninja suit, he freezes time and kills everyone in the square except himself. He rewinds once to kill Parkman again.

Then, he hands his past self a briefcase full of money and teleports the hell out of dodge.

Past-Hiro opens the case. Looks up at the camera and winks. Then thrusts his hands in the air and yells "YATAAA!!!"

The end.

I like it.

Works for me, it's perfect.

Don't forget to put the dinosaur fight in there somewhere, like the writers did.

Hmm.. you're right about the dinosaur. Let's see...

Version 2.

Hiro gets his powers back. Completely. Sword and all.

He travels back to NYC, the time of the finale for S1, where they all gather.

Dressed in an all black ninja suit, he freezes time and kills everyone in the square except himself. He rewinds once to kill Parkman again.

Then, he hands his past self a briefcase and teleports the hell out of dodge.

Past-Hiro opens the case and looks inside. Looks up at the camera, pushes up his glasses, then winks. Then thrusts his hands in the air and yells "YATAAA!!!"

Pan upward into the night sky.

Epilogue:

Future Hiro, dressed in black, reappears in prehistoric times. He looks up to see a flock of pterodactyls fly by. From out of the tress comes a tyranosarus rex, 30+ feet tall. It rears its head back and emits a bellowing roar. Hiro unsheathes his sword and runs toward the beast. He is two feet away from his steel meeting the razor sharp rows of teeth in the gaping maw of the reptilian titan when the screen fades to black.

The end.

Kinda how they'd really have that fight happen, right?

not an atrocity like I was expecting, but the premiere held my attention for the most part.

Finally caught up to watching the 1st episode of the season.

Why can't Peter heal himself. Or for that matter, is Peter back to having only 1 power at a time? I thought he took all (or most) of Sylars powers. When the knife guy cut him he still had the scars on his face hours afterwards.

Saw the premiere last night, it was alright I guess. I'm basically watching this for Hiro and the T-Bag and the Carnival. Kind of interested in the whole Parkman/Sylar thing going on and in Peter's eventual involvement with the main plot (no matter how much he tries not to get involved. Still can't stand Claire though.

Poor Heroes (not really), not gonna get much love (ratings-wise) with HIMYM, House, and some dancing show on tap...

But at least Global shows it @ 10. So hooray for Canadians I suppose.

Deaf girl sees sounds. Kind of cool.

Sylar makes a much better antagonist when he can't instantly kill or disarm somebody.

Perhaps you have also heard of football.

It's so depressing to see that people can now lol at this show. Could anyone have seen this coming after Season One? Fuck this shit.

But there's always one man we can count on to make our screens more interesting

Damn. Sylar is so awesome.
Matt/Sylar's story seems to be gettin interesting.
Peter's seems to be going somewhere.
Claire, well, its hard to say. lol.

I'm guessing that deaf chick is this season's "random irish girl"?

Yeah first thought that came to my mind was "I guess this is Peter's seasonal fling" (Did he have one last season?)

Good episode. This season is off to a good start, as long as they don't try complicating the plotlines too much. I still can't exactly figure out T-Bag's powers...they seem ink based but he seems to be able to do a ton of stuff. Anyway, I really liked the Matt/Sylar plotline. Matt fucked that dude up, I was laughing so hard when Sylar told him it wasn't real

I think the ink itself has power in it's own, and T-Bag just has the ability to manipulate the earth.

Sylar's being good again, Parkman is still damned near unbearable, lesbo Claire is neat but I've watched enough Californication for any of that to be interesting

is the first episode better or worse than the second?

missed it and wondering if it's worth catching up on

Parkman has the powers of professor X and he is letting Sylar use his powers against him, how sad.

Doesn't mean he has the power level, or skill, or experience, or intelligence of Professor X though.
