Hey GAF, how old is your 360?

Falcon Elite, maybe a year old? I used my BB ESP to trade up for $50. Light use, mostly Netflix these days (not one 2009 release).

10 months, Falcon repaired, 4th Xbox... it seemed to RROD today but after I replugged everything it seems to be doing just fine... hmmm.........

Had a launch unit (AU Launch) from 23/03/06 which E74'd within 12 hours.

Second unit lasted 1 and a half years with no issues, then my friend bought it and within a week of him havig it, it RROD'd when he cramped it in a poorly ventilated space.

Bought a Halo 3 Edition in September of 07 and it's perfect.

Bought an Arcade last September and it's perfect.

Bought a RE5 Elite which is unused.

My first 360 was a launch unit, it lasted about 1.5 years.

My second was a first run Elite, it lasted just over 2 years. It's currently being repaired.

I got my original Premium 20GB 360 a month after launch. It's been replaced twice and my current one was manufactured 6/9/06. I'll probably get a new 360 when Natal is released so I can get HDMI and a bigger hard drive.

I have owned one since launch, but sold one briefly in 2007 when i didn't have xbox live. I re-bought one for the 2007 gamestorm of Bioshock,CoD,Assassin's Creed,Mass Effect, and Halo 3... And have had no problemos with it so far.. crossing fingers.

I have around 34k achievements so I play mine a ton, i guess i'm just lucky. I've only had one RROD in 2006 and the replacement was received a week after sending.

Mine is a launch vet, so well over 3.5 years. Since the PS3 came out, I've used the 360 only for exclusives so it's lasting pretty long.

2007-03-06 Elite. No problems but barely use it these days. Too busy until the Fall.

Same age as my 60gb PS3. No problems and same usage as above.

3 month old elite. Running perfectly thanks to HDD installs...

Though I used my brothers before that. His died once and is on the verge for another death...

Manufacturing date: October 21, 2006
Purchase date: April 5, 2007

So about two-and-a-half years old. Never had any problems with it, other than the usual excessive noise.

I had a $399 Pro that was manufactured in October of 2005 that I bought in Feb of 2006, it lasted for 3 years, no problems. It stopped displaying video, not sure why, no picture whatsoever would show up (tested it on multiple TV's with multiple Video cables, VGA, SD, HD), nothing worked. The repair was $100, so I decided to buy an Arcade from Circuit City for $120 during their going out of business sale. Definitely the wiser decision, new controller, memory card, that Arcade disc and a late 2008 manufactured console for 40% cheaper. I just popped my hard drive on and everything has worked out fine so far.

I still have the broken console in the Arcade box, not sure what to do with it, maybe when I get so money I'll have it repaired.

Overall, I'd say I'm one of the fortunate 360 owners in terms of hardware reliability.

almost 4 years old now (december 05 manufacture). i removed the xclamp on it and put on new paste about a year ago.

over the last 2 years i've rarely used it though.

Launch unit that just RROD, and have since put some towels on it to bake, and is now back up and running (for now). I plan on grabbing an arcade at some point to get new hardware and the hdmi.

Had mine going on two years now, I don't have it on me now but I think it was manufactured in october of '07. Haven't had a single issue, knock on wood.

I'm up to about 6 months on my third one. So hopefully this one will hold out until I finally get a chance to get a Elite.

bought March 06 (australian launch)
use it a lot- RROD'ed twice in 2007. (June during Halo 2, Sept during Halo 3- I know). Got a PS3 40GB in November that year. Still use the 360 more and has worked like a charm since.
I was in the market for a jsaper but in the end I've just upgraded to a 120GB HDD on the original unit.
So 3 and half years since purchade- two years since last fault. If it dies tonight , I'll buy an arcade tomorrow. If my PS3 dies, I'll probably buy a blu ray deck tomorrow and a slim in a few months.

My summer 2006 unit lasted 2.5 years before it died. She was strong until the end.

Current Unit is closing in on a year old. Falcon++. I also have a Jasper Arcade from Japan that is a month old.
