Home Integration for Uncharted & Resistance! 2D Uncharted Side Scroll Shooter!

The GT5 Home Space needs to be an awesome showroom with hot asian models.

I imagine GT5's Home space being like walking into a pit area. You'll have monitors that are showing actual races going on (perhaps your friends), other monitors that'll allow you to quickly look at the best lap times ect.

I'm sure LBP has something awesome lined up for home.

I'd also like to see Sony hosting some festival type events every now and then. Maybe around E3/TGS etc. Have mini-game stalls where you can win extra stuff for your apartment/avatar.

I'd rather every Halloween, Zombies invade Home and everyone gets a gun and a spot on the leaderboard at the end of the day.

Oh Dante,

Tell me,
What is Mark McDonald's current role?

Thought that's where you heard that from :)

Motorstorm / Motorstorm 2 HOME space really NEEDS to have a small dirt course and some quad bikes.

I'm dreaming it now....

OMG!!!

More like it needs an oversized sandbox and some tiny circus tricycles.

I would like it they made it snow every Christmass so you could have massive snowball fights with other people.

Still, Sony could do anything under the Sun, and they could fuck everything up, so I'll try to curb myself a little, but if they really want it to be, Home could be the real PS3 killer app.

It is, but the guy working with Ryan Payton on MGS4.

I don't think he's as biased as you may think.

Whats wrong with sony, all this news out of no where. I wonder whats up for tomorrow. Also, when is the Sony Day thing.

It could happen in a Dead Rising 2 space or something, so many options :D

Man Sony gave the big middle-finger to GDC :lol

GDC should keep the focus on the developers. It's not E3. These megatons are all publisher-related things.

I'm glad that all the console-holders pretty much let the devs have their day in peace.

They won't start turning home spaces into fully fledged games :p There's a careful balance to be struck between promoting the games they want you to buy, and entertaining you in Home.

That said, some motorstorm-themed quad-bikes for transportation purposes around home could be interesting :p They seem to have some sort of bike in the window of the Home Stuff store, so that kind of thing might be possible..

Last I heard it was in May but I don't think there was any solid source for it.

I would guess you wouldn't need to own the game to access these Home spaces. They're meant as both extras for fans, and as advertising tools for anyone who might be interested in seeing what the game is all about.

They let MS flex there stuff at GDC, then waited till it was all over and took the spotlight for themselves.

Sony's Gamer Day is in May.

DON'T DO THIS.

There is NO Raptor Jesus in this movie. You will be BITTERLY FUCKING DISAPPOINTED.

I broke three windows in my house when the credits rolled.

I know, I got glass all in my hair.

And I want to say, that I had a part in it too with the Zombie thing, but you guys need to calm down before your expectations exceed possibility.

As gofreak said, it'll be used mainly for promotional uses.

I am excited by this, but I will be even more excited when I see serious 3rd party support behind HOME.

For instance, a COD 4 Home Space (like soldier baracks of some kind) would be tits.

That sounds so awesome

But do you need the disc for this...?

Maybe, maybe not. I could see some home spaces being for owners only, some for everyone. The latter being more promotional.

For example, I think it'd be a good idea for the Resistance space with extra audio recordings etc. to be open to everyone. So then anyone could go along, get a taste for the story behind the game, its context, its style, and if they like, go and buy the game. I'm sure Sony will be using examples like that as clever ways to subtly promote games in Home.

They probably wont but they could set up some sort of stadium with screens and broadcast tournaments etc, maybe add a spectator mode or something.

You're right, he's tightening up the graphics on Level 3 as we speak.

Seriously now, what multiplayer gamer hasn't dreamt of Warhawk's War Room concept?

Unbelievable awesomeness to think it will finally be realized.

I've never understood this GIF

please explain it to me?

Its from some PBS or Discovery channel special on "Jesus Camp". The kids got all spiritual and started crying/expressing joy/ etc. The lights and raptor head are just added.

I hope to god that when Namco brings Tekken 6 to the PStriple they have an awesome homespace for it. Think fight club with 8-12 people and then they go into a match a pair at a time while the others cheer! :D Plus the chicks from DOA in the back cheering! :lol

I never, ever understood gamerscore appeal or achievements, even as a year long Xbox 360 customer. Many will disagree, but that's how I feel above. :p

Are you sure? Then will you need to download a lot of stuff?

How do you travel through levels in Uncharted without the graphic information, textures etc from the game?

I think spaces like that would totally be for owners-only. As a way to retrospectively view in-game environments. I don't think they'd want people possibly spoiling the game for themselves. In fact I think those 'spaces' wouldn't technically be spaces at all, but a way to bring your home avatar into the game, in a special 'no-enemies' mode. It's home integration, but not Home spaces.

Whereas, as I said in my other post, stuff like the Resistance space with the 'lost' audio transmissions would probably be public.

I'm sure there'll be spaces for anyone, and then 'reward' spaces for game owners.
