Oh god why is it the Rumourtaku version of these in the OP :(

Is there another version? A more original source? I hope they didn't relay this from some less than reputable site :|

I'm not going to let you fuck this up for us. So get out.
I bolded it specifically to see if people would respond to that instead of the actual point of my post, and you took the bait, lulz.

Kotaku is the original source. He's just getting in the requisite Kotaku hate.

Its all awesome,

but after hearing the recent remarks about devs saying they won't have time for this kind of stuff, and seeing it only come out of 1st and 2nd party developers, i hope its not something that'll fizzle out after a while, because it sounds very VERY time consuming for developers.

Are you referring to Mark Mcdonalds comments on that? Isn't that a little bit like going to Shane for MS news?

Its the only version I found of this story... I think Michael from Kotaku got the scoop from an "informant"...

:D

Sounds pretty cool, this kind of stuff is about the only thing that would make me spend any kind of time in Home, however I'm thinking this will be really limited to 1st/2nd party titles only. I don't picture 3rd party devs who are already spending every possible minute and dollar trying to finish their game essentially "wasting resources" on this kind of elaborate Home space.

Me too for some reason, it seems like as great game for Home.

I'd rather every Halloween, Zombies invade Home and everyone gets a gun and a spot on the leaderboard at the end of the day.

Oh Dante,

Tell me,
What is Mark McDonald's current role?

Because you don't have to own the game to view the HOME space. Think of it as a 3D website.
Ah, okay, that makes sense now. In that case, that is pretty awesome.

Thanks for answering my question instead of saying "LOL U SUK! :lol " like everyone else who replied to me.

Given how big Sony is these days on PS3/PSP interoperability and the Playstation family, I bet you'll see PSP rooms too.

Patapon, anyone?

lol if the FFXIII HOME space has random battles.

:lol

I'd love that. There should be an ON/OFF option though. Otherwise I'd be grinding like hell spending my time there.

If it can be proven that it moves units, then they will.

This is the first time I've been extremely interested in a feature of HOME. Dildoless Second Life no more? Perhaps, perhaps.

*applauds*

That is damn cool, hopefully third party's will follow. I'm sure Kojima will have some really cool ideas for Home integration...

Edit: ^^ great minds etc

Crap, this thread is moving faster than Brian McNamee would if he saw Roger Clemmons in public!

Being not invited to the beta,
bastards!,
this news is encouraging as it much mean Home is getting closer.

Wollen also said there will be software emulation announced for PS2 games. He is not off the hook in my book yet. :)
