Then shut up, you've explained yourself fully. Don't give them the opening to ask for more information. If they do push for more information, just say, "I feel horrible about the accident and would prefer not to talk about it." and then go all Iago ("From this time forth I never will speak word.") on them. It's a horrible memory (even if it's not all that horrible to you, pretend that it is,) and you have a right to not have to re-live it.

And while I'm on the topic, if someone brings up your fetishes in a negative light, adapt that phrase to address their concerns. "Look, that was meant to be private, it's something that I only do with fully consenting and willing partners in our own private bedroom."

Yup, very good way of saying it. OP, I'm sure you didn't mean any harm at all, and I'm sorry to see people being tough (honestly, I'm a softy) but you have to also talk with somebody, professional help, because saying this stuff on a forum isn't doing you any favors.

Reading these posts on how this person handled this dog just pissed me right off. Who the fuck picks a dog up by its leg? It isn't a dead chicken, it was a living animal. You injured it, couldn't afford to fix the leg and put it down? My goodness, you are horrible.
 
SMH I'm so disappointed to read this shit from you Tears. I understand you've had things rough but the more threads you make the more you open up about weird shit going on. Don't EVER think about owning another animal because you're not in any position to. I'm not saying you were thinking about it but if you ever do, don't.

You seriously need to work on yourself and realize when your thoughts and actions are going too far. I want to see you get better but when you make threads like this and the previous one it's incredibly hard to ignore.

I don't plan on owning any more pets. Trust me, that's the last thing I need. I am trying to work on myself, but therapy is just starting and we haven't really gotten anywhere yet.
