I know the PS3 60GB itself is 7Kg, but how much does a retail box with the controller, plug, Talledaga Nights, cables and whatnot weigh?

amazon says the 20gb pack weighs 15lbs., but that's probably overshooting it a bit; i mailed a wii, an extra controller, and a copy of zelda a week or so ago, and all that weighed around 8.7lbs., less than amazon's estimate of 9lbs. so i'd say 15lbs. is kind of a highball estimate for the 20gb, maybe about right for the 60gb.

Yeah, I noticed that 7Kg marking on the box but I thought that was how much the PS3 itself weighed?

Umm nope that's the package's weight. The units itself weighs about 5Kg (both the models) according to specs.
