That was to be expected. The only reason they were so expensive in the first place is because it took so long for HP to ship them out. Now that the hype's died down and they're actually in consumers' hands, eBay is flooded with TouchPads. Sucks for the hoarders, great for the otherstino said:Interesting. There are alot of TouchPad 32GB on ebay that offer buy it now price of $200 and nobody bid on it.
I know this because I couldn't sell my 32GB for $250. A few week ago I easily sold my 16GB for $225.
If the price is lower than $250 I am not going to sell mine. I rather install android on it and give it to my family.
Yeah, I'm glad to see prices die down. I'm hoping to get a 16 for $150ish or a 32 for $200ish. Fingers crossed!RevoDS said:That was to be expected. It doesn't help either that Amazon has announced the KindleFire for $200 and HTC and RIM are discounting their own tablets already on the market. The Touchpad firesale price is still the best value for hardware but the discounts no longer seem so special.RevoDS said:That was to be expected. Kindle isn't 10". I suppose it's a competitor, but the screen size...it's a big deal that any potential buyer will have to think hard about. and the way Android development is coming along, any price at or below $300 is gonna be a good deal for a purchaser.hayejin said:I checked ebay and prices have really come down.
So those with extras should unload'em fast before Kindle comes out or unload them when stable Android version is announced.
Most 32 GB sell for $215.

sillymonkey321 said:My speakers started to randomly make crackling static noise when playing music.....i don't know if there is a specific cause for this yet, if it's problems with Amazon Cloud streaming on the unsupported browser, i need to put some music on this and see if it's a replicated problem.
DJ_Tet said:Mine did this yesterday with the Music (remix) app and some music local on the touchpad. I rebooted it and it went away.
It's the first time that has happened, makes me think it's related to the new webOS update.
