Huge Best Buy Sale on 4/26?

Price matched SCIV at Wal-Mart. The amount of bullshit you have to go through to get it matched almost isn't worth it. Would it hurt to make your employees review the company price match policy?

But I got it for $10 and I'm happy. It's all I wanted. :D

This is why I went to GameCrazy to get a price match for DMC4 :D
 
Went to bb(santa monica & la brea in LA), price matched my 2 games(took less than a min), and checked out the isle to see what was left.

UI, alone in the dark, and pure were gone. Some other titles were out and there was low stock. Plenty of warhammer, fracture, operation darkness, sc4(ps3).

and lol @ rock revolution. I doubt a single copy was sold of that one, even at this price.

Played pure for about 40 mins and loving it. Amazing game. Beautiful and handles great. The side stories on the riders made me laugh though, why even bother with that.

I really wanted to get Pure but I wasn't able to get over there today... very disappointed. :( I did get GTA Chinatown Wars off BestBuy.com now for $19.99
 
Got Infinite Undiscovery and Chinatown Wars. I really should have price matched the other games I wanted at Wal-Mart, or bought the games early from Best Buy. Oh well.
 
Got me the last copy of Soul Calibur 4 at my store before I left. We started with over half a dozen between the two consoles at opening and thought I missed out when I checked the numbers by the end of the day, there was one left somewhere but I didn't know where. I thought maybe it was hidden at on the gaming area somewhere.

Turns out the last copy was setting under the customer service counter. Zoink!
 
Well, I wanted Pure for the PS3, but my Best Buy was out of everything before they opened the doors this morning. Snagged the last copy of IU, and I was first in the store. Then went next door to Wal-Mart and price-matched Lost Planet PS3 and Pure 360.

So at least I got Pure, but not for the right system. Three games for $30 isn't bad at all...

I didn't get to grab my most wanted: Devil May Cry 4. Lame Gamestop doesn't price match, so I went to Target but they only have brand new games. I did get Pure, SCIV, and IU though so I guess I can't complain.
 
It's too bad they don't list all of the games in the ad, because don't most price-matching policies require the exact item to be printed in the ad? Stinks for those of you that had raided Best Buy stores.

I don't think it does. That's why it sucks the entire list isn't printed.
Though I do remember Sears would pricematch just on your word alone. They don't do that anymore. :lol
 
I had to settle for IU and Alone in the Dark, I really wanted DMC4, SCIV, or Pure, but oh well I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase.
 
My friend had told me that our Best Buy was completely out of IU & DMC4 when he stopped by around 10:30ish in the morning. I decided to venture out to Best Buy late this afternoon and found that he was right. Managed to snag an ad and made my way over to Walmart.

Not only did they have copies of IU, but aside from getting a price-match, the CSM took an extra $3 off so technically I got a copy of Infinite Undiscovery for $6.99.

I'll probably check Best Buy throughout the week to grab ps3 versions of Pure, SCIV, and QoS...assuming they get restocked this week.

I'm pretty sure you can price match via a print-out of the product's page on their website. Thing is, Best Buy is kind of iffy about that (Quantum of Solace is listed, Pure isn't).

And how is IU? Worth going out of my way to try and find a copy tomorrow, or should I just save my :10bux:?
 
I showed up 10 minutes before they opened and the parking lot had about 10+ people already waiting at the door. Too Human and SoulCalibur were already gone before they opened so I just Picked up a copy of C&C: Red Alert 3 as well as Pure - was tempted to pick up Fracture but held off.. anyword on a restock later in the week?
 
Earlier this week I picked up GTA: CW and Pure for 360 to pricematch later. At the time, they had a ton of everything that was on sale, but those were the only two that I really wanted....

I came back to price match today, that shit was gone. Pretty crazy how empty the shelves were. I managed to pick up the last copies of Ferrari Challenge (as a gift) and Rock Band for PS3 though. Yay for impulse $10 next gen game buys.

More than likely not, as these games are this cheap so we can get rid of them. Most of them are deleted in the system, so they're doing this rather than just sending them back to the manufacturer as part of an End of Life pull. It's essentially a clearance sale.

So technically the sale is all week, but if you went today and it wasn't there, it won't be there. I sure hope not anyway, at my store we've been sitting on 20+ copies of Pure on 360 since the game was released. I think the game's fantastic, but I don't want to see another 20 copies come in.
 
I bought SCIV and 007 QofS: Special edition for $10 all it comes with a shirt, WOW, but people were still grabbing the regular edition when they were the same price.

I blame them and Best Buy.

This shit always happens and they never enforce a limit. Why place one on consoles and not on games that are way easier to flip?

These jerks try to make few dollars by selling it on ebay, making tons of us not able to play the games. They should be ashamed of themselves.
 
Slim picking at my Best Buy. I was extremely tempted to pick up Operation Darkness purely for supporting the concept of Werewolves in WW2, but then I remembered the demo and how terrible it was.
 
is Quantum of Solace for PS3 for sure on sale? dropped by today and it wasnt on the sale desk. it was still in the aisle marked at 30 bucks.

I picked up all my games from the sales aisle, and none of them were marked down. But they were on sale, alright.
 
Heh, glad people are snagging Blitz. Be on the look out for me if you ever waste time to watch the credits (I think you get achievement points for it) :D

Im actually quite enjoying it alot, only had 2 problems of it looping/freezing when im trying to fix injuries which force me to restart. But its a different kind of football game thats a nice change of pace.

Ya, I thought it was a solid game that just came out at the wrong time. It just got lost in the shuffle. Maybe not a AAA game, but easily well worth $10. Sorry you encountered bugs though. Which version did you get?

Ah, cool, I haven't checked out the final on that one yet. In fact, I just got the 360 version today during the $10 sale. I snagged the PS3 version first since it was lead platform. I should pop in the 360 version and see how it is.
 
I wasn't able to make it over to a Best Buy around here due to an incredibly awesome work shift.

I hope they still have Pure and IU in stock when I'm able to get to one after class tomorrow.

Yes, Its just cheap entertainment. I complete every game I buy just because I'm that way but even if you play it for a week and put it away you got your value.
