Huge Best Buy Sale on 4/26?

I don't know, man. I really can't imagine them never getting Devil May Cry 4 in again, ever. Nor Infinite Undiscovery. Bolt? Maybe. I'm holding onto my rainchecks like grim death.
 
I'm going to go tomorrow and see if I can find anything. If the don't, I'll just make sure to get an ad and go to Wal-Mart.
 
I wanted Silent Hill 4 for 9.99, but my BB ran out :(..if anybody is selling..I'd buy it for the 9.99 + tax + shipping costs to cover it. Damn hoarders buying the stock early and hoping to get a price discount as soon as the sale goes live.
 
i got too much shit. got SH:Homecoming, C&C RA, C&C KR, Supreme Commander, Ninja Gaiden DS, the disney quiz game with the buzz controllers (needed an extra 4 anyway), and several other games i can't remember. i also got the singstar country bundle version for 10$, which i thought was a decent price for just the mics.

couldn't get DMC4 or SCIV, sadly.
 
I got Pure and last copy of Infinite Undiscovery for 360. I wanted Too Human but my store apparently doesn't even carry it. Lots of stuff was gone when I got there, 20 minutes after it opened. There were like 30 Pures though.
 
there were like 30 people inline by the time the store opened at my store in Bellevue, WA. i was kind of surprised.

First time it's ever happened to me. Usually they just make sure I'm telling the truth by looking at the ad and that's it. She even tore it and I had to ask for the rest of the Best Buy ad.

Do you have a copy of Pure you wanna trade? That's the only game I really wanted.

I went to two stores here in Austin around 11 am., and they were mostly sold out of everything. I did get:
Quantum of Solace w/ shirt bundle - Weird how the regular edition was still regular price. I didn't notice also that the package told you the shirt size, and I got the wrong size. Me dumb. Don't really know if they had my size tho.
Soul Calibur 4 - I like the SC games, but I'm happy with SF4 right now.
Singstar:Abba - For my girlfiend...;-)
They did have DMC4, but it was not discounted, it was still $30. Don't know what was up with that.
 
Rolled in a little after 11AM and everything had been picked off the shelves. I decided to loiter around and look at TVs and BDs for about half an hour, and then as I was walking out of the store I saw that they had a shelf up by the entrance with a lot of the clearance games on it. There weren't really any big name games left, but I did snag a 2nd copy of Condemned 2 to gift for a friend.
 
My store had a ton of Alone in the Dark, A ton of Supreme Commander, a ton of Rock Revolution, some TNA Impact, and a ton of Quantum of Solace. This is all 360. No Red Alert 3, no SCIV, some IU. Oh and a ton of Silent Hill Homecoming. They also had a single copy of DMC4. I went there at 12:30... I suppose a lot of people around here didn't know about the sale.

I walked away with AITD and TNA Impact! (I have no interest in IU or SC and I own the rest)
 
went to two Best Buys, and neither had GTA: CW.

Only one store had a few copies of Ninja Gaiden DS, so I picked that up~
 
Feel sorry for you guys that didn't get anything.

I got to my store at around 10:45 or so, and there wasn't anyone there. By the time 11:00 rolled around, there were maybe a dozen people. Doors open and I make a beeline to the games section. They had quite a selection in stock.

I got (all 360):

Soul Calibur IV (they only had two copies)
Bourne (probably 6-8 copies)
007 (One copy, hidden by someone else)
Infinite Undiscovery (probably 15-20)
Hellboy (2 copies)
Pure (probably a dozen copies)

The only other game I would've picked up would probably be DMC, but I can pricematch that at WalMart if I feel the need.
 
I can only assume Fat Wallet got ahold of this deal. Seriously it was like a swarm of locust had decended upon Best Buy today. :lol

Still I was able to snag Pure and Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword so I'm happy.

Ditto. And my store even had the stickers on them. I should've raised hell, but I really didn't care enough. Went home and saw that they sold it online $9.99 and ordered with Quake Wars.

I got there at like 2pm and there was really nothing left. I got Bourne, Turning Point, Jericho, Hellboy and Too Human. I wonder which of these will be the worse game of the bunch :lol. At least I've got fodder for Gamestop trade deals.

There was an issue with the pricing on it that didn't get fully corrected until 12:45 PM CST; if you had talked to the supervisor or one of the managers, they should have been able to do a price override to bring it down to $9.99.

Should of come to the one in Southcenter. There was only two people waiting.
 
Went at 2:00 PM and there were still numerous copies of Devil May Cry 4, Soulcalibur 4, and Pure.

Granted, this particular Best Buy is pretty well hidden.

Edit: Gonna see if I can price match Infinite Discovery at Wal-Mart.
 
Didn't want to hassle with the QoS price mistake, but I got Fracture, Bourne, and C&C Red Alert - didn't realize it had reversible McCarthy cover art!!

My store in Burbank, CA had 0 copies of DMC or Silent Hill for either system though :(
 
Went to Yonkers, NY Best Buy, I wanted Bourne, Fracture, and Too Human for 360, but none of those were in stock. Neither were Silent Hill or IU. They also had 0 copies of SCIV for 360, but like 8+ for PS3.

In the end, the only game they had that I really wanted was Operation Darkness. Otherwise, meh. =/

You're lucky. I went there too and saw that all they had was one copy of Operation Darkness and I decided not to buy it.

I didn't even bother going to the one on Fordham Rd. in the Bronx. I'm sure they got cleaned out.

I picked up Overlord: Raising Hell and Lost Planet: Extreme Condition for my PS3, then drove down the road and got Valkyria Chronicles at Gamestop for $30.
 
I went in and price matched for DMC4 & SC4 which I picked up on thurs. I also ended up getting 007 and Infinite Undiscovery.
 
This thread got me worried that my Best Buy would have nothing, but I pretty much got everything I wanted! Got Pure, Silent Hill, Quantum of Solace, and Turok. I might go back later to get Alone in the Dark and Infinite Undiscovery (is that game any good?). Maybe Overlord, too.

Only thing they didn't have, from what I could tell, is DMC4, but I'd rather play it on PS3 anyway.

Yeah. As I was just telling my friend, it sucks living in NY for these sales. Too many people here. Whenever I see people from midwest or southern states post pics/lists of their hauls, i just get upset because that is just something that will never happen with me. =/

I live in Missouri and the only 360 game at my store when it opened was Bolt and Rock Revolution. Sucks.

Couldn't you get some of the games on their website? Usually I'd get the stuff online but I didn't want to wait to play them. Also you could have bought them early and price match them today if you had the extra cash to do it.

Online is sold out for pretty much everything, have you checked the site lately? :P

And yeah, I was on a budget, so I couldn't do the whole buy now, pricematch later.
 
I ended up getting Ninja Gaiden DS and Guitar Hero 3. I had a feeling the scalpers would get a majority of the good stuff quick. There were about 25 copies of rock revolution and that was it.
 
My Best Buy was cleaned out. Just wanted to shout out a big fuck you to anyone who bought up these games for any other reason than to play them (e.g., selling them, trading them in, etc.).
 
I bought my games last week and price matched today.

Yeah there was a lot of flipping going on around here. I saw one guy with:

SCVI x 3
IU x 2
Pure x 5
Lost Planet x 5
Too Human x 3
007 CE x 2
and one copy of Superman Returns which I'm guessing didn't ring up $10 because he didn't buy it.
