It's..... beautiful!
Seeing some Dissidia love in there. Makes me a happy camper
I think I'm a weirdo or something, I don't keep THAT many games on my system. Lately I've been playing through 1 or 2 at a time until they're completed, Then I upload the save info to the cloud and work on the next lol. You guys totally need the 64GB cards lol
I do the same! But I rocked an 8GB card for quite a while when I got my Vita at launch, and then eventually upgraded to 32, since it was on sale, and I figured, well, "why not get the max?" at the time.
I usually jump around a lot when playing games, because my mood changes constantly about what I'm interested in playing at the moment (hence the rather eclectic lineup of games installed on my Vita). 64gb is a bit much. 32 is more than enough, and I still have about 2+ gigs available despite having all of that on my system.
I finally deleted Persona 4 off of my Vita. It was painful, but it was also taking up 3 gigs, and I already beat it (137+ hours put into it!), and I won't be going back to it for a while. RPGs are my favorite genre, followed by action games and action/rpgs.
They Vita is great device with an amazing library if you count Ps1, PSP and PsVita games.
The problem is that most people look for exclusive "blockbuster" games on a handheld and in that field the Vita doesn't offer very much.
I gifted a Vita to my brother for christmas and he never owned a Playstation(Ps4 was his first PS, he got it on launch), he collected PS+ games for a few months because he long before planned on buying a Ps4 and already got PS+.
So he already had a lot of games for his new Vita. I recommed him some Ps1 and PSP games and of course the best Vitas games.
He basically looks at a huge chunk of the PS1 library, a huge chunk of the PSP library and of course the whole Vita library and its all new to him.
He also enjoyes RemotePlay a lot and he is extreamly excited for the Playstation Now service because he never had a Ps2 and Ps3....
The Vita is pretty much the perfect machine for people like him.
But if you a pretty active gamer who lived through the Ps1 and PSP era and owed the consoles, then all the Vita offers are its exclusives titles and there aren't too many of them.
I actually disagree with you on the bolded.
I've been a PlayStation gamer since the PS1 days, but I haven't played every game available on the PS1, PS2, PSP, and PS3. I'm also a pretty hardcore gamer, but I'm not made of money. I can't afford every noteworthy game that releases on PC, PlayStation, Nintendo, and Xbox. Because of that, I miss a
large amount of great games across various systems during a generation.
Now that I have more money, I can catch up on stuff that I missed. The Vita being compatible with PS1 and PSP games has been a GREAT way for me to catch up. See my list above? Those PSP and PS1 games excluding Castlevania, the Chrono's, Dissidia, and FFIX, I've never played. The mix of old and new with the Vita is exactly why it's my favorite handheld.
