I wonder how do you guys see an Activision logo on the trash bin?
i don't see it, but the trash bin seems pretty symbolic.

So much nostalgia.
I honestly love crash but I would rather have Naughty Dogs talents put elsewhere. I love platforms that...that being said I don't think crash holds up well today.
For the Nth time. I said that as a joke and OP thought I was being serious.

This is crazy talk. Please elaborate if you're going to drive-by like that. Did you play all the games? Did you complete them? Did you play Mario 64? What other platformers have you played? etc.I have no idea why anyone would want Crash to be brought back. It was serviceable in 1996, but the games have aged horribly and the character is an embarrassing relic of 90s cliches. What Naughty Dog does this these days is far more interesting than Crash Bandicoot.
I think some of the ps4 trailers just have throwbacks in them, like how throwback thursdays is a thing now in social media, doesnt necassary mean these games will be on the ps4, im guessing
But im hoping im wrong
Id love for these games to come out, from the ads
A new crash game
Street fight 4 or 5
Crazy taxi
And also parrapa the rappa fromthe rumors going round, but not in the ads
Is this an important series for Sony? I enjoyed the original games but I don't think it would propel me to best buy any quicker to buy a ps4.
I played Crash 1 to 3, Crash Kart Racing (which hasn't aged as bad because it's a different game), and one or two of the Universal games, and revisited the PSone ones a few years back and they aged horribly. This is crazy talk. They don't. It started as a joke that the trash can symbolized Activision and the OP thought it was serious.
I see Michael Jackson more than I do Crash.
That's a pretty cool hint.
Don't let the Knack team work on it, please.
But there's a trash can under the signage. So that means they are trashing Crash right?
If I hear this theme play at the launch event tonight I'm going to lost my shit.
That would be fine with me, but I guess what most people associate with Crash that hasn't been done very well since is its signature tunnel platforming.
I know I'll be labeled a troll for this, but I thought Super Mario 3D Land was the closest thing to a Crash successor in a bizarre kind of way, because it used the same kind of perspectives and had skill-based platforming in the z direction.
Why are people acting like Crash in 2014-2015 has to be linear like it did during the PS1 games? It can still have that Crash feel but open up the levels.
Also, the trash can stands for the Crash IP not being used. It's just sitting there and Sony is moving it out of the trash. I just hope this is true, tonight is going to be amazing!!

Most games of that first 3D console era have not aged well, and Mario 64 is one of the exceptions—it is every bit as terrific today as it was 17 years ago. I've played plenty of platforms—a number of R&C games, Psychonauts, Spyro games, Jak & Daxter, Sly Cooper, etc etc.
Crash Bandicoot is absolutely embarrassing in a modern context. It's like wanting to revive Josta.
This line of thinking is beginning to infuriate me. Are you telling me that we no longer have the mental ability to observe game footage and read impressions of the game, finding connecting criticisms, and using that to make an educated guess on whether or not I'd enjoy it?You haven't even played Knack yet....lol
People need to stop listening to journalist and listen to themselves when playing a video game....
Calling all insiders! Mort! Verendus! GopherD! Thuway! Any comments?
If this ends up true, and is revealed to be in development tonight, I'll have a meltdown while I'm in line.
I was mainly referring to the Crash hint in general. Never took the Naughty Dog + space game thing too seriously.
Verendus did say there would be an Activision exclusive, right? Do we know what that is?
Of course it's not Crash, but it's nice to dream
It's happening. How could it not?
Crash Bash is terrible.
They are taking Crash out of the trash. Makes sense.i don't see it, but the trash bin seems pretty symbolic.
No, I think you're onto something there. Super Mario 3D Land/World-type levels would lend themselves very well to classic Crash gameplay, I think.I know I'll be labeled a troll for this, but I thought Super Mario 3D Land was the closest thing to a Crash successor in a bizarre kind of way, because it used the same kind of perspectives and had skill-based platforming in the z direction.
Crash Bash got pretty bad, but it was fun.No. It was awesome.
Dogs go through the Trash, and the arrow points towards space. All but confirmed. They are taking Crash out of the trash. Makes sense.
Crash by Naughty Dog please.
Crash Bash got pretty bad, but it was fun.
Why wouldn't it be Crash? Fits perfectly.
