i hate this generation

I guess people saying "PS3" are ignoring the fact that the controllers often disconnect with the console in the middle of game play, sometimes all your stored settings reset at random times, and several prominent posters here have had a PS3 die on them.

Better than the 360 in terms of reliability for sure, but I'm just sayin'... be fair. It's far from being the iron tank some claim it to be. It just looks like one next to the 360.

I don't think his AC or lack thereof is the issue, fact is the wii graphics processor, the 360 hardware and the ds hinges are all faulty devices. People with functioning units should be grateful they stay that way.

I"m more annoyed myself that I've waited 15 business days and still don't have my nintendo shipping slip to even send my wii in to get fixed. I'm about ready to just sell the damn thing and forget nintendo this gen.

BIOSHOCK!

I shilled it so hard

every forum I post on, I convinced tons of people to buy it, how awesome it was

it has betrayed me

bioshock has betrayed me

Do not take the name of Bioshock in vain. The cruel masters at Microsoft let you down. I personally sacrifice 3 chicken a week to those dark lords to keep my launch 360 in such great shape.

Come back to the flock, Kevar. I won't even report this thread.

It has never happened to me.

Buy a PS3 man.

360's has a 77% chance of overheating in the 1st 10 minutes of playtime

Wii = WiiFit

Handhelds = Stick w/ DS...unless you don't have an iPod...then get an iPhone

Again why should he buy another console, when he's getting both fixed for free?

By the problems 2/3's of this gen's machines, the PS3 is a tank... nothing's flawlessly perfect, but, by comparison to the other two, it's a tank, inside super nuclear carrier tank...

This threads been Wowhawked I see :lol

BIOSHOCK is a kind oasis. With the comfort of 72 Virgin Brides stored within, waiting just for you.

Think on that this day. And repent.

3 guys tried to break into my place 2 nights ago, I fought them off with my PS3. After I picked the skull-chips out of the vents, the PS3 worked just fine. The next night, my sick grandmother ran out of medicine. It had been raining hard all day and the roads were impassable. The only option was to surf my PS3 down the muddy mountainside. Ater getting the medicine, I jammed the pills in the disc slot for safe keeping, then tied a rope to one end and climbed back up the mountain using the PS3 as a grappling hook. After getting back home safely, I tossed the PS3 on the stove, cracked a few eggs on top and used it as a frying pan. After eating, I put on some steel-toed boots and kicked it around the basement for a half hour playing soccer. Then I plugged it back into the tv, and played Resistance for 12 hours straight. Worked like a dream.

Playstation 3: Indestructible.

What stored settings are we talking about? The only thing I've experienced is my favorites being wiped out for some reason.

Wow, I'm surprised it took so long.

The Bleutooth disconnection varies from person to person. Some people say that one of the recent firmware updates fixed it. Other people claim it's a problem with local 2.4GHz noise (basically the short-range wireless band that everything uses) or any other spectrum noise in the area. However, most people have no problems with the wireless.

Supposedly the PAL and 80GB units have an updated bluetooth unit, but I haven't seen any module/mobo comparisons yet.

thank you sir i am happy to meet your standards
That was one year ago and wasn't my fault- the site that posted it was misinformed.

Anyways, I wasn't bashing your thread making skills, but rather the posts that the thread consists of.

No games to play? Do you know what all is coming out VERY soon for the system?

A metric fuck-ton of gamers want their Bioshock, Halo 3, and Mass Effect very specifically. They don't care.

Yeah, I've been pretty much underwhelmed by the shitty build quality of the consoles this generation in general.

I am starting to think most people on this forum is making things up about there system breaking just to troll this gen systems.

Interestingly, thus far this gen has been kinder to me than the last. By this time last gen I was on my third PS2 and second Xbox. Rolling fine thus far with my current gen systems.

Should bought a PS3. That thing is built Tonka tough.

problem is.. there aint much to play on it yet. No use in having a system when its not into its own yet..it will be but its just not there yet.

As far as the poster goes..sorry to hear about your dark cloud hovering over you lol.. sucks man but hell, this gives you time to do some pc gaming while you wait.

I think this gen has as many trolls as it did in the 16-bit era. Let me give you an example, My brother knows this guy named patrick. He calls me up telling me how he wants a 360 and starts saying alot of mis information about the PS3. Like how the PS3 can't go on the internet. He also makes jokes about the pS3 and talks about some PS3 song on youtube. A week goes by and now he wants a PS3.

Getting sick of it cool to put down MS or it is cool to put down Sony. The only thing wrong with this gen are the prices. They should have kept them like last gen.
