I checked DarkJediKnight's posts from yesterday. There's one at 11am, another after noon. Forza said he was escorting his friend for lunch, he didn't specify a time. So how was DarkJedi there ALL MORNING if he was posting at 11am on GAF?

I give everyone the benefit of the doubt on the internet, because if you don't, there really is no reality or coherence to be had. If it's fiction, I don't care, as long as it's consistant.

Now. Is GUY justified in punching GEEK? GEEK had a very easy out, by simply telling GUY he didn't mean any harm BY it, or muttering "Nothing," under his breath. There's a clear behavioral choice that should be evident to this GEEK, as a male, as a primate, as a mammal, he should know that whatever he does next is either going to start a fight or avert one. If he doesn't want to fight, he should apologize and backdown, immediately.

Instead, GEEK continued to sarcastically express his desire to **** the obviously angry red-blooded heterosexual male in front of him, after he ****ed the girl he was escorting to the store.

Could GEEK call the cops and make an assault charge? Sure. What Jury of GUY's peers is going to think the GEEK didn't deserve to be punched in the face?

Call it chivalry, call it honor, call it archaic and stupid, I don't really care what you call it. But if some asshat did the above with me and my wife in those roles, I'd give him the opportunity to apologize and then I would start swinging.

I honestly don't care if I'd lose, or if I'd have to spend the night in jail. That's irrelevant.

Whether it's true or not, knocking a guy out for shit like that is stupid. First off, they're just words -- respond with like. Secondly, if you can obviously knock him out, why initiate it? If he goes to attack you, you already know you can handle yourself.

The 'geek' asked for it but puching him out was a very stupid thing to do. Security camera plus witnesses means you could be charged and going to jail/sued. This wasn't self-defence, it was assault.

Anyway, the fact that ForzaItalia has posted this story on a public message board makes me suspicious that it really even happened...unless he's some kind of idiot as he has just provided even more evidence of the assault...

Doesn't matter. Under Canadian law, this is assault. Depending on the damage done to the geek, will determine what form of Assault Forza would be charged with.

On the other hand, assuming Forza has a clean record, he'd likely just get a suspended sentence.

Sometimes people say stupid things which you ignore. Sometimes they say things which will result in a beat down. I don't tell random people on the street that I am going to **** them and their girlfriends, mainly because I can expect to get beat up for that, and rightfully so. Why should this geek have expected any less?
