Hi, I recently had the idea to plug my WiiU and have fun rediscovering my wii and wiiu collection. I really think it is my favorite Nintendo console. Not only for the best third party support Nintendo had since Snes but mainly because all of its gimicky features. On the gamepad you can click the app or the game you want to play, while on the TV there was the online Mii characters showing awesome custom drawing. Awesome backround music by the way. It had the most enjoyable web surfing app using the gamepad, a robust eshop app , a complete Wii OS for backward compability, video call and Miiverse.
A place you could share your tought and pictures you take from a game, draw images . Just so fun, even the wiimote is compatible.
it's not only my favorite Nintendo console but also my favorite of all time. How could Nintendo went from this awesome console full of inventive features to the barebone Switch?? I trully miss Miiverse and it's sad that Nintendo might never try again. Touchscreen on the switch is unused, online and social capability are more than barebone. The eshop is trash, there is almost nothing on the switch. It's a plug and play system with nothing exciting about it. They don't even care.
While the WiiU total sales and reception was weak, I hope you people know that this console brought so much.
