It'll cost $500 I reckon, so £400 on this side of the pond. I'll pick one up after seeing some desirable exclusives, but as it stands that £400 is better spent on PC upgrades.

However, I seriously doubt it's going to be 600 bucks. I'm thinking $450 and at that price it is a day 1 buy or a couple of months after launch.

Sony might as well fold up shop if they do something that stupid. I do not think their other divisions are doing well enough to subsidize their gaming division is things go badly for them. This really is going to be an interesting generation of consoles

Yeah, no problem. I still use my launch PS3 daily and I paid $599 for that. I drop the same amount of money on ipads and smart phones, I know I'l be getting my moneys worth from a PS4.
