With footage like this it's more EA/BioWare being careful on how they represent the game, I think. We've come off the back of negative publicity regarding games being misrepresented in the market, and with Andromeda BioWare/EA are showcasing both actual gameplay, in-engine content, and more focus, scripted marketing trailers.
All the Andromeda Initiative stuff falls into the latter category. The camera angles are all scripted for presentation purposes, content is cut together in a way that may not represent actual gameplay, and some content may not even be rendered in-engine. Many of the Andromeda Initiative videos feature CGI clips, particularly of the Arks and Nexus, travelling between galaxies, alongside a lot of technical HUD displays that won't actually be in the game.
Thus in order to avoid giving a false impression that ends up plastered all over websites, BioWare/EA brand non-gameplay trailers accordingly. The two or three gameplay trailers we've seen are branded CAPTURED IN ENGINE, REPRESENTATIVE OF GAME EXPERIENCE. That being said I'm fairly certain a majority of shots in the Andromeda Initiative trailer, particularly this one, are in-engine and indicative of how the game will look. The interiors look like something running in Frostbite 3 (I recognise those cheap reflections anywhere!) and the asset quality is reasonable.
Thankfully Aaryn Flynn has confirmed that he recognises the lack of a lot of really long, meaty gameplay footage is a point of concern and high request among fans. He's confirmed a proper 10 - 15 minute gameplay sequence is coming, one that showcases a generally uninterrupted flow of gameplay, like starting in the Tempest, talking to some people, flying to and landing on a planet, getting out and exploring, doing some combat and puzzle solving, etc.
