Bruh, don't skip R&C1. It's the purest, most exploration-based platformer in the series and has an unmatched atmosphere of isolation and discovery about it. It's dated compared to the rest of the series, but it's still a fantastic game in its own right.

All of the PS2 ones (Including the original, since they changed the story so much in the PS4 game). Then on PS3, Tools of Destruction, Quest for Booty, A Crack in Time, Into the Nexus. All4One as well if you have a coop gaming buddy.

I wouldn't start with ACiT since its a direct sequel to Tools of Destruction. Play them in order.

EDIT: Also ACiT is super overrated. Its great. But its not that great. Going Commando is far superior.

all the mainline games are good but I would suggest Up Your Arsenal PS2 remastered on the PS3, Tools for Destruction, and Crack in Time. The first two games might feel too dated for you st this point


I thought Quest for Booty was terrible so Im not suggesting that one. Into the Nexus I hated at the time because it felt so weird at 30fps. I don't like the frame rate in the new one either but I guess we don't really have a choice. I never finished Into the Nexus so can't comment on that one.

As you've already played Reboot, I'd say skip the first one (you are going miss the strafe and the weapon mayhem really bad, but if you're looking for a more "pure" platformer, go ahead) and play Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal. Then take some time before heading for the PS3 titles.

All the "traditional" Ratchet PS3 games. They're all fantastic.

You don't want to burn out on them by playing too many. I'd say go for A Crack in Time first of all as that's by far the best entry, and then if you're still interested maybe pick up the trilogy on PS3.

I think 'go and play another 6/7/8 games' after enjoying a single entry is terrible advice.
These games released over like a decade, you'd get burnt out so hard playing them back-to-back now.
Just play the best one, a Crack in Time.

Man, I would love it if they re-released the HD collection plus the Future series on PS4. I'd love to replay them but my PS3 isn't plugged in anymore!

Still haven't played Into the Nexus yet, really regret that I didn't get it.

Pretty much all of them other than All 4 One and the Tower defence one. Heard clank was a bit average but its good to play the rest.

A Crack in Time is the best R&C game. The PS2 game with the Mario Galaxy world pre-Mario Galaxy is great too.
