inFamous Second Son Walkthrough Out - Spoiler thread of Spoiling things

oh god. Its one of those games that has Ambient sound issues. The game looks fun. Sounds superboring. No music to fit its style and the powers and guns dont sound impactful at all. :(
 
Do people actually think that you can get
Paper
powers?

How??

I get that you are basing that off of the infamous paper trail, but where else in the game have you seen a conduit with paper powers??


Also, am I the only one that thinks that
Concrete
is a lame power?

Since we got
Concrete
we should be able to do that spiral pillar jump and concrete shield that the DUP soldiers got. But we can't!

It could have been cool. :(

From what I've watched there's a bunch of newspaper stands around and a lot of animation when you destroy them.
 
So ustream won't ban?

I've finished the game, I have all powers, am just running around clearing out outposts and collecting stuff. You guys want me to stream? I can show off whatever.

errr frankly the soundtrack on this game is awesome .... if you have a problem with the sound effects its one thing ... with the soundtrack .... its basically your taste in music being at odds with the dev ... certain isnt at odds with mine ...

EDIt certainly isnt something which would be universally accepted like say tlou soundtrack but def a good choice imo

There is actually a
paper conduit
that you can find in a side mission. Everyone that found it had to stop because they couldn't link to the dlc. Lots missed it by blowing through the game though.

Ohhh wow. Ok thanks for telling me that. Guess I better go play through all the side missions.

Paper Conduit huh? That does pretty much confirm a paper power since Del can absorb it, strange how it requires dlc to get. Where is everyone getting the idea that there is a graffiti power? And also I'm guessing no one 100% the side quests, I hope there are more powers to get from them.
 
I think a problem is that people are so excited to finally play, that they end up ignoring the side stuff and jump from main mission to main mission. I watched a dude play and he kept complaining, but almost never upgraded his powers or looked for shards.

I didn't see the Paper power at all in my playthroughs, but I wasn't playing a final build. But more about the 100% I got everything possible in one playthrough and 100% the game. I got nothing for completing that feet outside of the platinum with no name. Just for the record I played on Hard on both evil/good stories.
 
I just heard an audio log where they said that they were testing Paper, Wire, and Glass as potential powers for the DUP soldiers to use :O

I should not be watching it.. I have my pre-order placed a year back. But hard to resist. This is my most anticipated title of 2014. Thanks for the stream....
 
Man I'm so confused about these powers lol.
The day 1 patch, is it available or does it release on March 21st? Is it possible the extra powers are locked behind that patch?

I understand that. We were having a discussion about that earlier. However, it makes less sense for their to be other conduits with powers you couldn't absorb. At least this would give some incentive to do side missions. Pretty sure
the paper trails
is free too, so it would be available for everyone.
 
Gonna be funny if the day one patch unlocks the
paper conduit
side missions.

Between that and Coles legacy might be a decent amount of gameplay people who played it early will have missed lol
 
BIG SPOILER AHEAD ABOUT THE STORY HONESTLY DO NOT READ, THIS IS NOT ABOUT POWERS

So an important character (even though it is a spoiler I won't say names) dies within the story, this has been confirmed for the good karma decisions, I want to know if this is true for bad karma as well?

I feel as if I am going to want to play 3 playthroughs, 1 good, 1 bad, and the final one mixed with the best results (a realistic playthrough).

Welll Ive seen that in the bad karma and was wondering if it happens in good karma also ..... guess that answers both our questions
in bad karma he died due to augustine trapping them ... delsin cant keep holding onto him etc ... is it the same in good karma?
 
I'd PM someone for this but I honestly don't know who'd know... but are there any streams, walkthroughs out that haven't been taken down?

Hmm that's interesting so nothing can prevent it. I am assuming its the same way.



Are there multiple save files for inFamous games? Or if I want to start a new game I have to delete my old save?

Actually, Sucker Punch confirmed a new power (
likely "Paper"
) will be available in the DLC.

My only concerns are getting banned off twitch! What would you guys recommend?
Through twitch, ustream or ps4?

I was planning on doing side missions...I'm roughly 2ish hours in. But I have no problem starting a story mission if you guys are cool with that.

Do Ustream, I was reading yesterday that Ustream is more lenient and don't take it down as fast. I don't know if that's the case but I'd rather do that there :P
 
To people that have played -- does the world feel alive? I want a world that is dense and detailed, along with many pedestrians. Is this the case?
