I'm disappointed that the studio chose to execute on this type of concept considering their financial success with limbo and the fact that they have been given governmental grants for developing this project, when it amounts to just being another sidescrolling stealth/puzzle platformer.

I hardly ever say this, but... DAY ONE. Once again Playdead's artstyle suits me so well, looks fantastic.
Can't wait, even if gameplay wise it looked like Limbo part deux. Good thing I loved Limbo

Play Max: The Curse of Brotherhood if you haven't already, it's brilliant, and Heart of Darkness was one of the obvious points of inspiration.
