Co-op via Live seems to be something that gamers are looking forward to, can you confirm whether this is something you are hoping to implement even if its for two players only?
FC: Yes. There will co-operative play for up to four players both over Xbox Live and through local play.
Will the feature that requires you to press up on the D-pad to speak be in the final game?
FC: We’ve made a bunch of changes to ‘push to talk’ so that everybody can set up their game how they want it. It’s now extremely flexible and we’re confident that everybody will be able to settle on a scheme that they are happy with.
XCN asked numerous sites to send in some questions long before online co-op was confirmed, so that explains why someone wanted to ask Bungie if they would include it.tombur said:OH SHIT 4 PLAYER CO-OP CONFIRMED!
Oh wait.

To be fair, this is XCN's content they have sent us, we had nothing to do with this interview.ToyMachine228 said:Gamersyde is seriously kicking ass as far as bringing content, locking up interviews etc. They're off to a great start. Good interview.

Halo 3 sounds pretty cool. Don't know much more then screenshots from beta and never played 1 or 2 though. Coop split would make it a must buy though

Can't wait. Gonna have me some fun.

We could have implemented even larger battles with even higher numbers but this wouldnt necessarily make the game better or more fun to play.

NJ x Falkor said:This is true but a few of us were kind of worried due to the fact that we have seen every other weapon from that case in detail and nothing more about the flamethrower.

Frankie/stinkles come on down

Proelite said:Does anyone know if there are high quality scans of Halo 3 info in the newest Famitsu xbox?
Y'know that survival mode you mentioned earlier? KP said that Bungie had considered it at one time. Don't know how heavy their consideration was, but if it was, that definitely puts an interesting spin on Frank's line in this interview.urk said:Seven of 'em, for emphasis.

May be these are the scans, i don't know.Skilotonn said:Do you guys have the five Halo 3 scans from this weeks Famitsu?
Now its more a case of deciding where to rein things in and what to leave out.
A lot of recycled pics from the Edge scans. Btw, the edge ones are on the same blog.rostocker said:

Does it annoy you when Halo fans seem to be overly critical of tiny things[snip]?
[Frank:] Not really. Its important to remember that the only reason that this kind of thing happens is because the game is under a massive amount of scrutiny because its so popular and loved.
It just comes with the territory and the fact that people will analyse every last detail of what were doing is more a compliment than an annoyance.
Speaking of the edge scans, I love how the armor reflects light from fire correctly now. That scene from the E3 trailer where Master chief is amongst some flames in a room looked Halo 2 level.rostocker said:Which is worth a ban, right? Just deleted it![]()

Will Halo 3 introduce any new races to the Covenant? I don't think they really need to add more races at this point but I'm just curious. That and the possibility of new forms of the Flood. I don't expect to see a straight answer unless the answer is a flat out no if anyone ever asked anyway.
There was an interview Frank gave recently - I think it was blim's "no comment" video - where Frank said Halo 3 won't introduce much in the way of new characters or even new races, since the story is focused on the conclusion of the series. He reiterated there would be plenty of "surprises", though.ToyMachine228 said:A question that I'd like to ask Frankie or Luke or anyone else at Bungie that I haven't seen asked...Halo 2 introduced Brutes, Prophets, and Drones.
