As long as yours apps tell if they are downloading additional assets, thats ok... the problem is when they do it behind your back...

Our only live app that does this in a meaningful way is Into the Dead, which is upfront and you actually have to sit through and wait.

I don't know that we are explicitly telling people download sizes but having this at least in the app description sounds like a good idea, especially for our next game soft-launching in the next few months which is "big" and more seamlessly loads in assets over time.


Yeah, is think this is very bad. I definitely dont like this and will check my data usage more often from now on. Also, you can disable the app from connecting to internet in settings, data. I did it, Rodeo Stampede runs normally and doesn't steal more usage.

Definitely sounds like it is caching video ads.
