I haven't really been paying attention to the campaign so far, so this is the first time I've really listened to Obama before. I liked the parts I heard when I wasn't zoning out. It's about convinced me to vote for him during the Tennessee primary.

He's repeating a lot from that earlier speech you all loved. I always start to cringe when he brings up the Civil Rights Movement. People say he's good at avoiding playing the race card, but he comes dangerously close to eluding to it sometimes, and I think he should steer clear.

Why? It's thanks to that movement that African-Americans can aim for anything any other American can aim for in the US. Look at the state of black people in other countries like Canada, France, the UK, Australia, etc. He can play the race card all he wants, there's still work to do in fact.
