LOL. Calm down sheep.
Maybe its time you got a new catchphrase and a new insult.
Calm down, sheep.
We have another sheep.
Its kinda played out.

So...
iPhone 7 no Headphone Jack.
iPhone 7S(8) no Headphone Jack, no Touch ID
iPhone 9 no Phone at all?
I don't know what's more annoying, using the word sheep unironically cause people bought a phone you don't like or that there's a poster named Assbender who thinks Nintendo fans are comparable to Trump fans.
Completely inaccurate. I have the Jaybird X3 and the only downside was the hit in audiophile grade iems I had before. Everything else has been far more convenient for me. I can't tell you how many times wires get caught on random things in NYC. And the battery easily lasts the entire day. Sometimes I don't charge it and I'm good to go. And I alternate between my One Plus 3T and 7+ constantly and it's seamless. So I cannot agree with your assertion at all.
Now I know the answer. Also seriously that is a fucked up comparison.

They didn't. There is an adapter that resolves the issue.
I wasn't asking in the first place, that was someone else. But ya, I guess if money is no object then wireless quality can compete. Why does the price matter? You weren't asking about budget headphones.
I always found it surprising that iPhone buyers are sheep when Android has a larger marketshare and are easily talked into buying these phones by retailers for that extra commission.

The very high end wired ones are still better than any wireless version.
Why do people keep pretending the iPhone 7 doesnt come with a dongle for headphones
First it's rumored to cost $1000+, now no Touch ID? That's really important feature since I used it regularly for bank apps. Look like I will stick with my SE for awhile.
You can keep the dongle attached to your wired headphones and then its like your normal headphones, except the tip is different.
But then I realised that I quite often misplace headphones, or leave them at home when Im travelling. With my current phone I can pick up a £10 pair at the train station/airport and Im good. With no headphone jack thats not possible. And I dont think lightning dongles are so common that you can pick them up in a convenience store yet
So yes, you can have a similar experience with your wired headphones and Im sure lots of people do. But there are also clear limitations that will affect lots of people too.
They most likely wouldnt even need an update - anything that uses TouchID is using a system level API. If thats just replayed with FaceID or whatever its called then the app might not see any difference. You dont use touchID for bank apps. You use biometric unlocking. TouchID just happens to be the way that is surfaced in current iPhones. If Apple replace that with faceID, you could still use your bank apps. Maybe theyd need a quick update
fingerprint / touch id before apple "iPhone" implementation = useless and nobody used on laptop or any other consumer device
face id /recognition before apple " iPhone " implementation ... ? *

windows hello works already in a very good way
Windows hello took a while to get good on the surface pro 4. And I dont know what its effective angle of operation is - wonder if anyone has measured it? 120 degrees sounds like it would be needed to be able to unlock a phone from a desk
The rumor is that Face ID will replace Touch ID for Apple Pay.I would be surprised if this turns out to be true.
I mean just anecdotal and all but I've noticed apple pay being used more, would be a puzzling move to take it out as it were gaining traction
Thinking about this, it might actually be a good move as long as the angle of detection is good.
No more issues with gloves and no more issues with wet fingers. I can easily unlock it with no effort on my part. Unlocking apps/passwords would also be easier. Let's just hope it works well for a first release. Considering the surface has it (fairly) well done, this shouldn't be too bad. Surface is definitely not perfect though.
Since you're already looking at your phone it might be seamless enough that you feel like there are no barriers to doing things.
Where have you been? We've know this for a while now TouchID was gone!First it's rumored to cost $1000+, now no Touch ID? That's really important feature since I used it regularly for bank apps. Look like I will stick with my SE for awhile.
Depends how flexible it is. What if youre wearing sunglasses? A hat? Put on different makeup? Grew a moustache? I would have thought peoples faces change or are obscured by clothing more than fingers are.
I guess that's where this comes in
"Pearl/Face ID is powered by a lot of deep learning, like most of the new iPhone features"

More you use it the more it learns about the user.
100% agreed. The convenience of AirPods/BT cans far outweighs the marginal sound quality decrease.
This just in: most people just don't really give a shit about audiophile quality, and would rather have a more eloquent solution.
I owned the Jaybirds as well. Dropped that shit and went back to wired. Battery issues are ridiculously infuriating and I don't want to charge something else.
Let's say you're robbin a bank though, and you got a ski mask on. You think there would be enough data points you could quickly unlock and call the getaway?Thinking about this, it might actually be a good move as long as the angle of detection is good.

Hey man, I'm not saying the old phones were any better at this. You're robbing a bank and aren't wearing proper gloves to not leave any possible fingerprints/traces behind?
TouchID (nor the touchscreen, at least not with most gloves) works properly with gloves.
That's not how it works.
Sure it is. Any fanboy could be considered a sheep. The whole point is that you blindly follow your shepard.
Whether that shepard is Apple, Google, Microsoft, Samsung, iOS, Android, or something else is mostly irrelevant.
No, no, no. I mean getting extra commission for selling android over iPhone. It's the same regardless of phone.
so its rumoured that the iPhones to be announced will be iPhone 8/ iPhone 8 plus/ iPhone X
What will be the differences?
The Price lol
The screen, the weird design, some animoji, face ID
LOL. Calm down sheep.
What a comeback, I'm a sheep because I buy what I want and don't concern myself with what others buy. Baaaaaahhhh!
