My friend just got a 4g ipod, which requires either Windows XP or Windows 2000 (sp4). He has windows ME, so I assume he just needs a new service pack for ME... which one should he get and where?

ME and 2000/XP are fundamentally different. He doesn't need a service pack, he needs to upgrade his operating system.
