Is 2015 the year of the PS4?

....Actualy Xbox One has more good exclusive games this year, with Halo 5 on top, so to answer the question i'd say no.

I say 2016 is the year of the PS4, Uncharted Baby!, 2015 is the year the dragon has awoken from it's slumber and ready to Rumble. E3 Hype choo-choo

One of the big reason the PS2 became king is 3rd party support, I cant remember if 3rd was on board like this from the start or after PS2 started to leave the competition in the dust.

Isn't this fairly meaningless now compared to back when the PS2 was leading? The hardware now is so similar that more often than not it's foolish for the publisher to not port their game.

Yeah you have your random Japanese exclusives that hit PS4 and indies are all over the place it seems but the majority of publishers seem fit to play all sides and port their game to everything possible.

Let's wait until after E3 and we'll see where Sony is at. They must have games lined up for the holidays. Once we see what Sony, MS and Nintendo have for this year we can debate who's year it is.

That is your opinion and I don't share it. Also seriously doubt Halo 5 will be a better game than Bloodborne. It will sell more, but PS4 will definitely sell more than Xbox One too.

maybe the ps4 is the year of 2015

Every year is always supposedly the year of something or the other. I don't really see it as that.

All i know is that the platform i play on is being well served with third party titles both western and Japanese.

Just tons of games coming down the pipe i'm very excited about

Technically since the PS4 and XB1 launched every year so far (including Wii U) has been the year of PS4 in terms of home console market performance.

Outside of that it's all pretty much opinions when it comes to better games, etc. That's just preference. But the actual hardware sales, those don't lie.

Of course every year is really the year of the PC anyway. Including this one.

Myself I yearn to see the year of the Vita and maybe the Wii U; they could both do with a break.

they are completely different games.

To me that sounds like saying this ice cream is better than that steak.

Sometimes i want steak sometimes i want ice cream. This year ill have both after bloodbourne with halo coming and itll be goddamn delicious.

Yea I think E3 will be very telling also.

My question was more of a forethought, base on what we currently know, but yea its enough time to become stagnant, or take off for sure.

Sorry but with QT delayed there is no exclusive Xbone game as good as Bloodborne IMO. Halo isn't the same without bungie.

But it's hard to berate people over the Internet about how it's "The Year of Just Playing Games."

:3

By the way, on console Xbone seems to have more games this year, but 2015 will be again the PC's year, with all those great multiplatforms with the better graphics and frame rate available such as Witcher 3, Batman AK and MGSV, plus VR should finally be available to consumers with Vive and Oculus.
Of course all that if you have a decent gaming PC

Bloodborne and persona 5 in the same year. yes op, this the year that we finally get some really special games to play.

Sony has no games this year, the All In One Entertainment System is the best place to play.

The dearth of software on PS4 will make XB1 games that much more fun and enjoyable, because while playing great exclusive titles like Halo and Tomb Raider you can feed off the misery of Sony fans and wipe your ass with an Uncharted 4 "Coming 2015" poster

There are Tomb Raider and Forza 6 too, which should be good games, plus ok Halo could not be the same without Bungie, but Halo 4 was still decent and i guess Halo 5 will be a good game too at least.

How does Xbox One seem to have more games? You have some serious tunnel vision.

The Order 1886
Bloodborne
MLB The Show
Until Dawn
Tearaway Unfolded
No Man's Sky
Ratchet & Clank
Persona 5

Tons of digital only games, plus whatever is revealed at E3.

No objective argument can be made that Xbox One has more games this year.

The All in One Entertainment System is standing far away in the distance, and the PS4 is running towards it, just trying to keep up...
